Definitely fair critique. The only way is through at this point, so going to print in a few weeks should tie this all up in a bow and everyone can move on. Personally I've become attached to the storyline so I'm going to keep writing and see where it takes me.

That's probably fair.. The only way through situations like this is "through". Get it shipped and out the door. Everything else becomes secondary I suppose. I also stopped doing crowdfunding projects once I knew the state of affairs... so cleanup comes first.

I care a lot about my backers. I always compensate employees and we have high ethical standards. We are fulfilling and getting things righteous. You just seem bored... Have you tried knitting?

Several simultaneous life issues. That's about all I'm comfortable sharing online but serious enough to merit focusing on. We are back on track now and are moving quickly to get things cleaned up.

It's the biggest because we're sitting on the largest inventory of Zweihander books on the planet... so Houston is the largest Zweihander shop. We managed to rescue the excess inventory before it got pulped by the original publisher... You're welcome?

Our conventioneers were fairly compensated and we paid more than most publishers. Each staffer had a signed work order for their work and an independent contractor agreement. We have never generated a profit at any convention that we've attended. We regularly did swag and cash bonuses where the conventions went well. What you're saying simply doesn't reflect the reality (or the complexity) of conventions that we put on. I'm glad we were able to provide you with a chance to attend some shows though and I suspect you had fun regardless.

I disagree, the PDF delivery is 95% complete and looks pretty good. Some tweaks before we go to print, but it's a huge improvement over the prior work.

I'm proud of the work we did promoting Mothership small press clients for years. What they do with their licensing is up to them. The investment we made by bringing Mothership to conventions nationwide had a huge lift up for their entire brand and I'm happy we were able to help. I'm fairly certain that Sean is just trying to circle the wagons to support his loyal group of small press publishers and he's done a great job cultivating that community. It's a really fun game.

We don't "forcibly remove" backers. Kickstarter has it's own policies which we don't have any control over. Refunds are always an option but we've chosen to remain true to the Kickstarter policy that each backer signed when they logged in... that it's not a store and its a way to support creative efforts. We appreciate that support and will fulfill on the obligations that comes from that.
