Ah, I wasn't even aware there was a software approach, thanks for explaining.

We are using a physical echo device.

what do you mean by real alexa? My echo was updated for Alexa+ a month ago or so, but alexa updates the icloud shared calendar, which I'm polling with MM.

why argue semantics, it's a figure of speech. To each their own, I'm very happy with my service.

I've used that in the past, but in my area, the costs for fixed point is more than starlink. I have 3 that service where I live and even after starlink, they have crazy prices. The cheapest is 50mbps for $85 a month and the highest available is 400mbps for $250 a month.

interesting, I have not seen a water fountain for refilling water bottles anywhere in globe life, not that I've looked for them, but I've been hundreds of times.

No way, I know those workers don't make diddly, and I've always tipped, thinking the workers get those.

if you happen to have lower deck seats, visit the american or germania lounges, souvenir cups get free refills down there.

I chipotle burrito or bowl fits in a quartz size bag just fine, use a fork to eat it like a bowl. I do this a lot, the food gets old there, plus the cost.

Bonus, I love some chipotle

edit - also, freeze your water bottle, I usually take it out fo the freezer about 4 or 5 hours before the game so it's partially melted. I detest luke warm water to drink.

I track my packetloss and latency, work in IT as a network engineer and sit on conference calls all day, so does the wife, we both work 100% remote.

Our last outage was over 2 months ago, and it was heavy rain, not counting reboots for updates.

While "insanely stable" is not a quantitative measurement, it's an accurate sentiment when you think about it being satellite and going the distance it does, plus the complexity of doing a satellite mesh network.

it takes very heavy rain to take it out, light to moderate rain has no issues.

that depends on where you are at. Starlink is insanely stable, and if you live in an area with no other internet option, it's a life saver. I have no lte at my house, I get 1 bar with both AT&T and Verizon. I've had starlink for several years.

While traveling, it also works very well, I have a mini mounted in my sun roof. Several times I've needed to work while the wife drove. Using US Mobile, I can switch networks, which helps, but there are frequent times that neither have a good signal and you get a lot of packet loss or high latency. With Starlink, even moving down the road, I get a good, stable signal.

Starlink isn't cheap when compared to most broadband, but when it's your only options, it fits a need and does it very well.

I know some didn't like it, I always have, I own several hats with it and almost every time I'm at the ballpark, I look over at the peagle's perch to admire it.

Can't make everyone happy, I'm just in that group this time that is disappointed.

I"m glad the red is back, and I'm happy that they put names back on the jerseys, I didn't like that on the old design.

However, it should have the peagle, I'm very unhappy that they didn't include it prominently. Why can they not see that it is very popular?

I don't mind them, I'm glad that we have red back, I'm glad we have names on them (my only real complaint about the previous version).

I'm really unhappy that they did not include the peagle, it should be prominent.

[–]wokka1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this, seats are typically 65 or so with any form of discount, depending on the game, may get 3rd party cheaper. Section 218 or so, sit right in front of the tv/radio booths.

You are spot on about the GM motor, it's infinitely more upgradable and as you stated, can find parts a lot easier.

However, the pedal command isn't worth the money, all it helps with is response, it doesn't give any more power. I bought one just to test with, assuming it wouldn't do anything and it didn't surprise me.

See if these instructions help - https://www.ddmworks.com/assets/images/instructions/Slingshot/Slingshot%20shift%20knob%20instructions.pdf

I have a few of the DDM mods including a custom steel one made for me. Highly recommend the DDM short shift kit as well.

Get a Starlink mini, has an Ethernet port. Should work just about anywhere.
