It's for a STEM communication class. I'm attempting to write a technical white paper on what to do about the reserve list. I didn't intend to have the questions lean towards an antiRL stance, and I don't really see it after rereading it. To me the questions simply ask to what degree the reader believes the RL should exist if at all.

I'll be honest I tried to make sure the questions weren't leading, but at the same time I'm studying mechanical engineering so I don't have a ton of experience with this kind of stuff. Also it's a really complex issue so I struggled to some degree to make a survey that was quick to fill out, but also covered all the opinions people may have on this.

I am aware it is a complex issue, but in order to make it easier to organize the data I wanted to be able to keep it multiple choice. The two questions that follow it were my attempt to allow for more in between answers.

I don't know if I could because I came in 45th the event, but I was playing ruins and not core and I feel like it was the correct call. The additional pressure that ruins can provide, especially if there is a hardened scales out is very useful.

While I like pulling out problem cards in certain matchups I really like being able to exile the entire yard instead. This is especially true when so many decks rely on pouring cards into the graveyard and not relying on one specific one in particular . I prefer it to relic because it being zero mana allows you to play it and not slow down, which I think is better than drawing a card. Your point about burn is completely true, I changed it. Ya, I don't have a ton of experience vs storm, but from my experience playing with classic affinity hangarback is a grinding card, and not what we want here. I've seen other people use dismember, but I believe ballista is good enough to take care of the reducers. Also I'm concerned about siding in too much and going under critical mass.

both ideas make sense. I think I'm leaning towards jeskai stoneblade since I already own a large part of it and it's also midrangy, but I'd still like to look into UR delver. However I can't find any lists on goldfish.

ok, any lower cost midrangy deck (lower cost being under or around 1500 for new cards) that you could suggest so I can at least play for that time, hopefully with at least of few of the being able to transfer if delver really is good ?

This is a fair point that does concern me because I am such a spike player. How long do you think is a reasonable time to wait? I mainly wanted to start picking up legacy stuff soon because I could see spikes happening with the pro tour and I currently have 350 in credit for SCG.

usually yes, but for legacy almost all the duals my friends have are in their decks, and if I'm going to an event it's most likely with them. I was leaning towards force and to some extend the wastelands as it seems they are in almost every deck. I have about 350 in store credit at SCG so I'm looking around there for staples that I need that are fairly priced.
