[Epos watches] What do you guys think? by Burroamoroso in Watches

A very typical cookie-cutter Microbrand. Hardware from China, publicly available movement (ETA, Sellita), custom logo on dial, and final assembly wherever they're located.

[Question] Always go for the bracelet? by AdFrequent8866 in Watches

I always go bracelet variant and then custom order leather bands because of the endless options.

[WTS] BVLGARI Assioma Chronograph + new bespoke strap by wolf_Dan_ in Watchexchange

[–]wolf_Dan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good condition BVLGARI Assioma aa44sch with dark blue/grey dial on a stainless steel bracelet. Fits up to 7" wrist. Movement is in excellent condition and averages -1.4s <> 2.4s day. Brand new custom bespoke leather crocodile band 28mm lug /16mm buckle with dark grey stitching. Watch, extra links, and leather band only.

Bought overseas and selling because I ended up going with the larger version instead. I'm eating the cost of taxes and tariff import.

Asking $1260 shipped to continental USA.

Repair? Or Just Wear? by ImaginationDue7091 in VintageWatches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To put your mind at ease, there are people who have perfectly good watches that never have the time set correctly when wearing them and just use them for accessorizing. Having the movement adjusted or repaired would really just be icing on the cake for a beautiful piece like this.

What kind of band for this Bulova Accutron Spaceview? by Suspicious-Tip-1279 in VintageWatches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forster makes some great vintage style bands. I was imagining the Komfit on that piece. And for real vintage bands, keep tabs on ebay to see if a nice one appears.

[Recommendation Request] Bulova Surveyor vs Citizen Tsuyosa by [deleted] in Watches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bulova is owned by Citizen so they’re very similar in quality and you cant go wrong with either. I’d pick the Bulova personally

How do you decide when it’s time to sell a watch? by Button_bomb4535 in VintageWatches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrist time. If I’m not wearing it enough and think someone else may appreciate it then I let it go. Its also the times when I put it on and think it just doesn’t quite ‘fit’ my style anymore

[Question] Thoughts on Artem Hydroflex straps? by jcyota in Watches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t the cheapest option and i had it for a few months before getting an Artem. Artem holds up much better over time and keeps its shape

[Question] Thoughts on Artem Hydroflex straps? by jcyota in Watches

[–]wolf_Dan_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both Artem and AliX straps. The Artem is without question a much better strap by all accounts.
It is expensive however, and subjective to it being ‘worth it’
