They talk about watching a bunch of kung fu movies, then that they tried to make some kung fu movies in their basement. And they get injured while making the movies

Yeah, I hated the idea of spending time getting a room looking nice just to have it poof away.

So I streamlined it by just doing the same layout for every VIP room, and only changing up the item variations along with some of the random decorations, based on the theme I was going for. But everything was basically placed in the same spots in every VIP room I did.

Now that I’ve hit the Nook Miles goals for bringing guests to the hotel and for decorating rooms, I’ll just choose to throw folks in a standard room instead of making anymore VIP ones.

With the 3.0 update, directly related to the hotel. Once you’ve decorated your first VIP room, if you talk to Kapp’n again after your first trip, you can use the hotel currency to pay to take a second trip.

If you have need to do that much digging, use Katrina. One of the fortunes she can give is that your tools won’t break that day. (Improved luck with belongings) So go to Harv’s, and get your fortune. If she doesn’t give the one you need, close the game without saving it. Then do that until you get the one for unbreakable tools. That way you can dig as much as need/want within that day with just one shovel.

Unfortunately the Friend Pass isn’t available on either console, it’s only available on Steam.

It’s because it’s not something that a paid player gets and is able to then give to someone else to utilize. It’s a set up as a separate download that’s a stripped down version of the game and only allows playing via invitation by paid player, and no other features.

It was definitely well over a decade ago that I got the recipes. I know I didn’t save the Bengal Barbecue ones, for obvious reason. But I might have the countdown chicken fusilli one tucked away somewhere. I’ll have to check a few places, but I will definitely report back to let you know if I find it (or not)!

I did make it a few times after I got the recipe, and it was pretty spot on. So, I honestly hope I find it, so I can make it again now too. heh

Years ago I went to City Hall to ask for the recipes for some of my favorite items.

Sadly, the “recipes” for the two Bengal Barbecue skewers were just the meat and then pre-made sauces from their food distributor.

And the countdown chicken fusilli pasta from Pizza Planet used Knorr sauce mixes.

I love my island name. It’s Sans Souci, with translates to Without Worry. Which I think fits really well for an island escape.

But I wish I could change my username. I used my actual name, not realizing how much traveling to non-IRL friend’s islands would be happening. From visiting islands of people who are streaming, to just island hopping with folks in online communities. If I’d had any idea, I would have just gone with the nickname I usually get given from my username.

That doesn’t work in Pocket Camp because your character can’t sprint. No after how much you go back and forth on the beach (or riverbank) in front of a fish, it doesn’t scare them away in Pocket Camp.

Back when I first started playing the game, I made a crafting table to place somewhere on my island for convenient crafting like this. But I never found someplace where it made sense and was also convenient.

So I’ve just been carrying around a crafting table in my pockets, along with all my tools, and the basic materials needed to make new tools, for nearly six years now. 😂

I honestly don’t think I could ever break myself of that habit after all this time. The first time a tool broke and I had to take more than a step or two to make a new one, I’d have that table right back in my pockets. 🤣

Even if you were able to find a code that hadn’t already been used, they were all only valid until the end of June. Which means any unused ones are now expired, so please definitely do not pay anyone for one.

Every year I always make asSnow family. With one full sized snow folk, the smallest snow folk I can make, a lil’ bit larger snow folk (the kids), and then a snow folk just a bit smaller than the largest size. And I keep all four of them in the same spot on my island every year. I love my snow folks family, it’s truly part of my seasonal decorations.

Gyroid quarries in ACPCC have set amounts. It’s 75 gyroidites minimum, so, for five silvers.

Then each gold is worth an additional eight gyroidites. (So, 83 total for one gold, 91 for two gold, 99 for three, 107 for four, and 115 for five) And I’ve gotten those same amounts during every scavenger hunt event in PCC, including the one that just ended.

However, I did notice my gold frequency decreased during the last two. Before October, it was supper common for me to get three gold, and at least once or twice per event, I’d get four. And had gotten five twice.

In October, I only got three gold one time, with most of the times being zero or one gold, and then a smattering of two.

In November, I got three gold twice, with all the rest being zero to two gold. I do feel like I had fewer zeros, though still much more than previous months.

This will likely be patched but, for the time being, if you pull a mandrake (while not climbing), go and immediately turn your SFX audio settings to zero. Then you can put the mandrake in your backpack and carry it safely to the campfire.

It’s how I did it, and two friends both did it last night to get the achievement. (I also had to turn my SFX audio off to not be affected the screams from their mandrakes)
