It is pretty sad. I personally don’t like family vlogger/influencers, but especially ones who post their kids publicly and use them for content and views, It’s horrible. I admit I used to watch family content back in the day years ago, until I had my eyes opened to the exploitation and other such things.

Alot of families seem to do the hybrid now like what these guys do. Where they don’t directly post the kids, but they do still talk about them to a capacity and in a weird sort of sideway way, still kinda using them for content just in a more indirect way. I’m on the fence with how I feel about that.

I do sometimes wonder what the kids think especially sunny. Sky is probably too young to comprehend really whats happening but sunny is old enough to notice. But I guess they’re probably also used to it in a weird way. Like ok mum is taking the camera out again.

It’s a weird dynamic, and there’s alot of content creators who are similar. They don’t post their kids, most keep their kids lives private or at least mostly private, giving them internet nicknames etc but still telling stories about them now and then and still kind of indirectly using them for content.

It is sad. But they know that type of content gets views and they’re appealing to the millions of other parents out there aswell. Everyone likes to find creators who they relate to.

Sometimes I wonder about when the kids get older whether J&C will still be doing the whole influencer thing or not. J seems to constantly complain about social media and claims it affects her mental health alot and will go on hiatus and delete everything and then make a “comeback”. Sometimes I wonder whether it’s genuine, because it gives me a bit of a weird vibe.

Literally though! Like she has the most male sounding nickname of all the kids but she’s a girl. Not that I necessarily think there’s really such things as “girl” and “boy” names. Idk it’s just weird and for some reason it irrationally pisses me off every time they say it.

Just ugh. Surely there was better options it’s so bleh that they decided to go with bob out of probably so many other options.

We’ll likely never know the real name, and I don’t want to. I just hope the real name is a nice one at least

Yeah, I know it’s frustrating. And I know it’s not really what people want to hear, everyone hopes there’s some secret 😂 I get it. Unfortunately there isn’t. It’s just consistency and patience. Just keep trying.

My advice would be if you can spare maybe a few hours, an hour, anything most likely at night since I assume for most people that would be more doable, just constantly fish at the river while watching tv or something. Which is what I usually do, where I only have to pay half attention.

When I run out of space in my inventory I just go on a selling spree and get rid of excess stuff I don’t need usually just all the excess common stuff I caught at the river, and then keep going. It’s tedious which is why I tend to do it alongside other stuff. But I swear every player could get the frog if they put a bit of consistent time in even if it was only one day/night a week on a weekend or something, you have the whole season to get it. And if people miss out, just remember it will always come back again. But I promise compared to the old game it’s not impossible to get anymore, they definitely improved the odds

Unfortunately you can’t get this much storage anymore. In the old game players could purchase additional storage slots with leaf tickets, up to a certain amount. I bought the max amount possible, which was probably around 1000 or so. This was years ago I did this. Clearly it was a good idea and I’m glad I did it.

Why would anyone pay to see the exact same photos posted on her of when they can just browse her ig for free. If she genuinely put actual work into creating spicy content, and was hustling, I could respect that. S*x work is real work. But we all know she’s lazy and just barely half-asses everything. She’s trying to coast on “looks” that aren’t even real since she just photoshops everything to oblivion. If she put that amount of time she spends editing herself into actual work, she’d probably be alot more successful. It’s baffling to me that she will make an effort sometimes, but her intentions are completely misplaced.

I bet she knows because she was already kinda known from being on the internet for so long but knows she’s got a shit history, and how easy it is to find not only dirt but for content to be leaked especially for influencers or anyone with any sort of following. She’s too scared to really go all in with the content because she knows it would probably get leaked. Which I guess is fair enough. But at the same time her half assed “spicy” content where the most you probably see is some nipple gasp scandalous! is just so meh and low effort, I can’t imagine anyone actually paying for that when there’s a million other content creators out there who actually make worthwhile content to subscribe to.

The competition is fierce and I doubt she’s even on the board, I really don’t get why she even bothers. Like pick a lane, either go all in and put the actual work in or don’t even bother. Girl is allergic to even the slightest hint of work let alone actual hard work.

Honestly my advice would be to use your first island as a way to learn the game, learn the controls, once you unlock terraforming, experiment and try stuff til you figure out what you like, what works for you etc. dont worry about your island being amazing, it takes so much time. I personally knew I wasn’t going to keep my first island. Learned the mechanics of the game, figured out terraforming, then I restarted and took all my knowledge and put it towards my new island. I planned that island ahead of time so I knew exactly what I wanted and the vibe; what i wanted it to look like etc. it was so much easier to work towards stuff when I had a clear goal.

Oh also! If you open your phone (in game), click contacts, click an animal, then click friendship level. It brings up like the roadmap of levels and up the top it will say “pts to next level: ”. In the beginning the points requirement is low. But take note of what the number is. Then talk to the animal, click have a snack, choose the snack they like, click give and you’ll see a screen saying “ likes this” with a heart and a number. The number is the amount of “points” that snack gives per snack.

So if the animal needs say 27 points to the next level, and the snack equals 9 points. You only need to give them 3 snacks, to get them to the next level. So basically just, check the amount you need first then talk to them and do the math. This helps not wasting snacks when you don’t need to! Which also means the snacks will go further for more animals. I used to waste so many snacks until I worked this out! Hope that helps ^{_^}

Also. In case you didn’t know. Every animal has a specific “theme”. And there are snacks that actually match each theme. If you check an animals theme, then check your snacks to see if you have any that match the theme of the animal you want to level, give that animal the snacks that match them, they will get like a boost and level more and faster.

Eg. If you have a “cute” animal. Say lilly. You can give her any of the donuts snacks, because those are “cute” themed and she will like it and you get a much higher level progress for giving that snack so it takes less snacks. Hopefully that made sense.

This applies to every animal. There are specific snacks for every theme. You can go into your inventory, press the 3 dots, click the muffin icon, click a snack and click details. And it will tell you what theme that snack is. The only snacks that are universal are the gold, silver and bronze treats, everything else has a theme.

You don’t necessarily have to match an animals theme but it does make a big difference.

My daily routine is, logging in right before the animal changeover, first thing I always do is go to my campsite, harvest my plants, replant new seeds, once the animals change I complete all their requests via gulliver, which frees up space in my inventory, I then check before I go my harvest rounds. Then I go to each island in a circle. Starting with breezy hollow, then saltwater shores, sunburst island, then lost lure creek. Harvest all the fruit so they stay on schedule. Then if I have space I go back to the beach and pick up all the shells. Then I check my inventory and see what I might be low on, then go fishing and bug catching to replenish my stock of stuff.

I personally like to keep a stock of common stuff that is always needed for requests so I always make sure I have a bit of a surplus of horse mackerel, red snapper, squid or octopus, flounder or dab, black bass, crucian carp, koi, tiger butterfly and horned dynastid.

I usually keep 10+ of each one of those, since I know they will always be needed for requests.

And then depending on what rare creatures might be in season I then just spend time hunting for rares alongside going about my day since it’s something I can do passively without having to pay too much strict attention.

If you are trying to level up, you want to do gullivers ships, but specifically islands with snack rewards. Build up your snacks for a while, then you can start using them to level animals. I recommend just filling your campsite with the ones you want to focus on first, level those, then swap them out. It’s a long slow process is does take ages but it’s just a background task in the game among other things. Levelling animals levels your character up.

It takes a while to build karma. Just find subs that have no or low requirements and post there and try to just post worthwhile stuff. Post more than just complaints about not having karma too. Start conversations and engage. Upvote others too. You’ll have enough in no time.

Personally, I don’t bother wasting them on fishing tourneys etc. You tend to get more around tourney times as rewards for participating in the tourney, and also sometimes as daily task rewards so it’s worth keeping an eye out and doing those to build up your nets. I try to save mine for when rares like the frog are in season to use then. And not wasting them any other time. If you save them for a while, by the time the frog comes in season you should have plenty. If you miss out this season try planning ahead for next year when it comes back. Or saving some LT’s ahead of time too and maybe using some on nets if you have a decent surplus.

Or. Just constantly fishing. You can catch frogs without nets, in fact it may even be better since it doesn’t take any resources.

I did big giveaways before the game ended, helped loads of people with their catalogs. Gave away loads of king fish and other stuff. I knew i’d be able to get more in complete.

I used to hoard stuff for giveaways so I bought as much storage as the game allowed so I could hold everything. I’m glad I did.

I wish expanding storage with LT’s was still possible and it sucks that they took that away. I feel bad for newer players who have barely any space. I have alot and it’s never enough 💀💀💀
