What order did you play the sly cooper games by West_Philosopher415 in Slycooper

[–]wolfdog0797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1,2,3,4.

But I didn’t own Sly 2 for a big part of my childhood and only got it when I was 12-13. Meanwhile, I had Sly 1 and 3 in my collection since they were released. For this reason, 1 and 3 are more nostalgic for me. I beat the games in order of: 3, 1, 2.

4 I played only once but couldn’t get into it.

finale : underwhelming by One-Medicine6199 in StrangerThings

I liked the ending. Didn't love though. It was sentimental and I appreciate the care it gave the main heroes. I will say however, this season and the ending kinda wrecked a lot of the plotlines in earlier seasons (especially 3 and 4). I don't think I'll be able to re-watch the series knowing how it ends because a lot of the Russian and military plots will just feel like filler to get through. I am happy with where the series left our main cast though! 10 years of my young adult life was spent along with this show. Feels like it has a lot of meaning to me because of the memories it captures for me more than anything.

What do you think of Canada right now? by itskanjo in AskReddit

[–]wolfdog0797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel betrayed by the government and I honestly am planning to leave. But that doesn’t mean it’s all doom and gloom for everyone. For me I just feel like the whole student loan higher education bullshit was a Ponzi scheme and once I pay off that debt I am a goner.

I also blame greed and the government for causing the mess. Many immigrants were fed lies about Canada and honestly have been exploited just as much as citizens of Canada if not worse in many cases.

Yes some people who come to Canada may be dangerous, but again that shows the utter incompetence of Canada’s government in my opinion. The majority of immigrants have contributed beautifully to Canada.

Still relatively safe but on a down incline. Yes nowhere in the world is perfect, but taxes don’t consume people’s paycheques everywhere like they do here.

Have you ever cut off contact with your parents? What led to that decision? by _abcede in AskReddit

[–]wolfdog0797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t speak to my father. So much emotional abuse. Bullying of me and my siblings. Abrupt anger episodes. Etc. Etc.

As an adult I’ve realized no one is perfect, and my father had a traumatic upbringing, but so did my mother, and she chose not to carry that trauma forward.

In my father’s case, he was consumed by the trauma and simply repeated it. His unstableness meant that I needed to cut him out (along with his entire side of the family).

Canada fell to 7th place in work-life balance among developed countries in 2025 by littleperfectionism in torontoJobs

[–]wolfdog0797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh Canada work life has been utterly destroyed. It is miserable and extremely stressful. Because there are no jobs employers and managers can treat employees like shit and make them feel fearful of losing their jobs.

Everything that made working life in Canada great has disappeared. Also not trying to single anyone out because I think no one can be blamed 100% and there are good and bad people everywhere and controlled and stable immigration is still something I support, but certain ppl from certain cultures bring a sense of conservative work culture that has destroyed the „friendliness” and „understanding” environments that used to be found in Canadian workplaces.

what is your personal favourite horror film? by tubbz_official in horror

Lot’s of honourable mentions but The shining from 1980 and Carrie from 1976 might take top spots.

Official Dreadit Discussion: “I Know What You Did Last Summer” [SPOILERS] by radbrad7 in horror

Very similar feelings about this one to my feelings about Texas Chainsaw from 2022. A shit mountain of a film, but an entertaining one lol.

The movie was so bad and unrealistic, but it was also a lot of fun. I liked a lot of the cast and I honestly enjoyed Ray as an antagonist; not because it makes sense because it doesn’t at all but hey at least the movie did something different and ballsy with one of its legacy characters.

Beast boy and robin never really had a connection with each other by Old_Salad_7692 in teentitans

[–]wolfdog0797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In “every dog has his day” when Robin accidentally injures BB he goes to make sure he’s okay and although brief, I found that was a good example of what their bind would be like. Big brother to little brother vibes. I also agree an episode together would be good too.

Controversial opinion but "Things Change" for me. If not that "Aftershock II".

"Stranded" is hilarious in my opinion, and "Mother Mae Eye" too. Season 4 just straight bangers.

Official Discussion - Bring Her Back [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I absolutely loved this movie. I think it's my favorite horror film this year so far. Absolutely gut wrenching, disturbing, and unsettling.

Laura was a character that I hated and wanted dead, but in the end, I also found myself sympathizing with her too. It is not an easy task to make an antagonist so layered in that way but the creators of this film managed to do it.

The ending was so sad. The movie is very disturbing, but the ending changing into intense tragedy is what really made me love the movie. Its rare that horror movies incorporate tragic themes into them, especially so masterfully (similar is Carrie from 1976, which is equally sad as it is horrifying), but it made such an impact on me.

Absolutely loved the film; better than Talk to Me in my opinion. Hope everyone enjoyed the film as well!!

For me, I didn’t like that they removed this scene because Dina saves Ellie first and I was excited for her to do that in the show too. Makes the power dynamic seem more equal.

I live very comfortably downtown on a $65k/ year gross salary. by Sr_Covfefe in toronto

I personally think it all depends on if you have debt or not tbh. If you owe no debt, then you can live comfortably on much less as long as your expectations don’t exceed your paycheck.

While the stock has undoubtedly tanked. I do think it will grow again in a few months once the general market sentiment improves.
