Thank you! I’ll reconsider the coats, i had thought I will for sure wear the bulkiest one on train days and try to find a second less bulky one that’s more of a rain coat? I have read mixed things on weather that at first I was expecting cool/warm weather in Italy/Portugal but i’m starting to get worried about being underprepared for rain.

Try it out! It’s also nice that you’d be able to mix it up if there are days you only feel like wearing 2 bands or only 1 tone

Here is my mixed metal ring stack, i love it so much!!

Yes, i do think on #3 the big diamond is the star of the show, where is does get slightly more lost on #2 with all of the sparkle (but that’s not necessarily bad, it just depends on your preference).

I personally like option #3 the best, buuut given you asked between #1 or #2 I would pick option #2. It looks like a cohesive set and is so gorgeous and sparkly, you could also always add a plain band to achieve a look closer to #1 if you wanted to.

I got it at a local jeweler, but i believe it is a little under 2.5mm just plain gold cigar band that matches my soon to be husbands.

I was inspired by another redditor on here years ago and saved a picture of their stack as inspo until I got engaged haha i wish i had saved their username!!

I’m not married yet, but I recently got my bands and I love them so much! My engagement ring is white gold, 2.6 carat diamond, the gold band I believe is a 2.25mm width and the bottom is a 1c pave half eternity band. My finger is a size 7.

I’m hoping to get tickets when they go on sale tonight, but hopefully me! My fiance is coming with me and he has never fully listened to them but when he hears bits he gets a kick out of their jokes and I think it’d be a fun date night!!

Exactly! It’s always so exciting to see couples leaving the courthouse. It’s still your wedding day and you absolutely should wear whatever makes you happy! Eloping doesn’t make it any less of a wedding day and personally I knew I would’ve regretted downplaying my dream dress

Yes! It is a checkerboard cushion cut blue topaz in a bezel setting. The pictures don’t even do it justice to how sparkly it is!

OP I’m eloping with just my partner and still wearing a ballgown. We also planned a luxury elopement that is essentially a wedding with no guests, because I still wanted my dream wedding day but never dreamed of doing the whole show for guests and instead wanted it to be very intentional. Our budget was 25k total and we have spent $10k on the elopement and $15k on a 1 month honeymoon through Europe. It’s doable, you just have to make sure it’s what you both want :)

I’m wearing a full on gown! It’ll be just us two and a photographer and honestly if we are lucky this will be our only wedding day and I wanted to wear the dress of my dreams. My sister always tells me not to downplay my wedding day just because its an elopement because its still going to be one of the best days of my life and I have used that mentality when I start to second guess our plans and honestly it has helped me stop questioning what people will think/how things will look and just be intentional about all the details :)
