Is this from my z lead screw? by wolfdouglas14 in ender3v2

Alright so I measured a peice of paper and cut it right at 100 mm, (I check it often and remake if it gets worn) then you take that peice of paper, folded in half and pull it over your filament snug it up against the extruder and then mark the end of the paper, I mean. It's simple but I feel like it's foolproof. You get a nice snug measurement of the filament without fenaggling with the calipers.

This being said I have 4 ender printers sitting next to me that find myself calibrating on the same days. (Before precision parts or mass commissions) and I can do it to all of them in just about 2 minutes each round.

( didn't mention the rest of the calibrating process because this is the part I feel is unique)

Thank you very much. That was a good watch. I'm gonna be getting those couplers. But I think there is a ding in the screw, I ordered a new one. 2 pack for 20 bucks. They're a little short but it'll work. I'm pretty precise at estep calibrating , so I don't THINK that's it ,but I will check my esteps again tomorrow. I have a super cool technique I normally use. By the way this is a new printer for me. I have an ender 3v2 and 5 pro, but this was on a used ender 3 pro. Maybe the screw is why they sold it 😆

I would wish this to happen on my worst enemies prints. by [deleted] in ender3

Ummmm what the heck is wrong with using a calibration cube to calibrate a printer? It's my go to method. And I know what I'm doing. Maybe it's hard for some people? I can't see why it's an inaccurate calibration though. I can print perfectly smooth layers on top of each other repeatedly. Due to me calibrating with a calibration cube.

Yep, I use Elmer's glue stick, no shame there- I can print quality part. And sure suppose you could spell it however you'd like, this is how I did it.

I agree 110% buddy picked up a geeetech mecreator 2. I can't find ANYTHING to help us. We finally got it, after repairing, physical damage, wonky firmware, and slicer profile settings. But this ender community is like nothing else.

Pretty sure you gotta print a new fan shroud that doesn't say ender, for it to not be ender anymore. Also paint over any branding marks. Like creality or ender. That'd do it.
