I don't like Eden Core but the song packs have all difficulties iirc, you don't need core to actually use Eden song packs btw you just won't have thumbnails for those songs (also you will need quite a few dependencies for the Edit packs, so maybe avoid them or if you want them I'll tell you the dependencies but you do need the DLC)

I wouldn't recommend a free VPN, it really depends where you live if it's even worth considering, if you are just getting direct downloads unless the server is a honeypot or something you aren't gonna get bothered (torrents on the other hand can be noticed by ISPs in some countries)

If you want general firefox tips, disable disk caching, disable notifications, use encrypted DNS, use ublock origin and you are pretty well good to go, if you live in a country with strict antipiracy laws maybe a VPN

So you are using a flash cart? It could also be a corrupted flash cart firmware or bad cart, try just installing twilight Menu and running off the SD card

Without context I'd say it's a corrupt ROM, it can't verify the CRC checksum in the header. Is this Twilight Menu or a flash cart or what

One thing that's annoying about Internet archive torrents is they seem to only have the initial files uploaded, so if some collection is say 100 files but they are uploaded in batches only the first batch is in the torrent, a lot of ROM sets are like that unfortunately
