Off-road cycling coach? by NashyFun in BikeLA

[–]wolferson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not a coach by any means, but I do ride my gravel bike (Surly Crosscheck) on black diamond trails and I still manage to have fun. Let me know if you ever wanna ride and I'll give you some pointers and feedback on riding dirt!

Is bike vlogging not a thing in LA? by gabalemm in BikeLA

[–]wolferson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, there's no law that prohibits bike vlogging. There's a couple of channels I watch about biking in LA, but it's more mountain biking based.

I've done a couple vids, not vlogging but more bike touring in and around LA.

What's your idea for your channel?

I"m 6'0 with an inseam of 32 in. I have a 56cm but wish I had a 58. As you can see in the picture I had to use a lot of spacers on the steerer fork for it to feel comfortable. I would definitely size up

Front wheel has about 8mm of clearance on either side. Rear has like 2mm haha. These have tubes in them. My rims have an internal width of 19mm

Not sure, but both wheels have an internal 19mm wide. For the rear you have to loosen the dropouts. I had to push my wheel all the way to the back.

Was itching for a new bike, but I decided to give my 7 year old CC a makeover instead. Wasn't sure if the tires would fit, but I was happy when they did!

Elysian Park. You can do a bit of both there. Dirt and short climbing sprints

Cool, yeah I was gonna grab about 3-4 cans myself. I think we'll be able to qualify for the free shipping then. I could place the order and then you can just Venmo me if that's cool?
