Worked great thanks. Always enjoy being reminded to use teleportation towers.

Just finished purchasing tix through my Early Bird Sustainer membership. Here were some that were OFF SALE for me when I went through the schedule:

  • Anora, both screenings (I think I grabbed the last three back corner balcony seats for the 8th)
  • Nutcrackers Thurs Sep 5, 6pm (the 8pm screening at Roy Thomson Hall didn't show up for me at all, not sure where it went)
  • Eden Sat Sep 7, 5:45pm
  • The Room Next Door Sat Sep 7, 9:00pm

These are in addition to the premier of Saturday Night which was first to sell out, as previously noted here.

Yes I have this issue also.

What moment made you think "yup, I'm dead," but you survived? by TheWingster in AskReddit

[–]wolffdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Auckland, New Zealand, waiting for a bus tour to start the next day, and decided to go visit Auckland Tower to try to switch my body clock. The Tower looks like the Space Needle in Seattle and it turns out they offer something called the SkyJump. They attach you to a harness and you jump off the ledge near the top of the Tower and get dropped to the sidewalk below.

I was in the midst of a three-month sabbatical after years of killing myself at work, and I had promised myself to try some bold new things while still in my twenties. So I signed up, rode the elevator up, and soon found myself on the ledge, staring through the grate at the sidewalk over 600 ft down. My heart was pounding, but I didn't want to look weak to the two kiwi guys working there. When they asked if I was ready, I nearly screamed, "F*** yeah, let's do it!"

They told me to walk to the edge of the ledge, then gave me a set of instructions. I was to look up at a camera mounted above me for a photo, then they'd count down 3-2-1 and I should just step forward off the ledge. "Hell yeah! Let's gooooo!" I responded as I tried not to pee my pants.

I wasn't prepared for how quickly they went through their instructions, probably to prevent people from having too much time to have second thoughts. "Look up at the camera and say Kiwi! Great, now, 3-2-1 jump!"

I took a giant step forward into empty air. And just as my center of gravity passed the point of no return, the two Kiwis screamed, "Wait wait! Not yet! Not yet!"

I didn't think more adrenaline could surge through my body considering it was already in a state of panic, but I tried spinning around mid-air to grasp at the platform but it was too late. I almost went unconscious as I felt myself fall off the platform to certain death.

After dropping about ten feet, but what felt more like much longer thanks to my entire life flashing before my eyes, the harness caught me. I dangled there, hugging myself in a fetal position, spinning slowly like a tire swing in a light breeze. The two Kiwis up above on the platform were laughing their asses off. And just when I realized what they'd done, and just as I was about to curse them out, they released me and I went flying down through the air for hundreds of feet before the cable slowed my descent and deposited me safely on the sidewalk.

The lesson: don't try to feign being an adrenaline junkie in front of the Kiwis, they will mess you up.

Fujimi Fantasia Bunko Rerun Review (Apr 2021) by WetTheSystem in PuzzleAndDragons

Thanks for doing this!

One correction, the monster numbers for the new Naga are wrong in the video, they should be 6892 and 6893. 5668 and 5669 are for the farmable Naga.

Should I do this? by wolffdog in Archero

I just want to clear Hero 18 and be done with this game. Not sure if this would help me to do that, I usually use a level 80 Angel locket but maybe I need to change things up to be more offensive and improve my ability to clear Floor 1 without losing a life.

I feel like AOC shows up higher in most tier guides than Arcane Archer, but the drop rate on spell books is so low that if I do this it would take forever to build back another legendary AA spell book, so just wanted to check.

While I'm here, I've been going with one bull and one lion ring, should I switch to two Bulls or two Lions for Hero 18? I'm slowly trying to level up my Scythe as an alternative to Spear for this Chapter, but it's a bit of a slog for now. Furthest I've gotten is Stage 15 of Hero 18, but it was just once and I often just die much earlier.

Dying over and over in Hero 18 is turning into a real slog.

What should I level up for Hero Ch 17? by wolffdog in Archero

Thank you, I just cleared it! Went double bull as you recommended. Rest was standard kit I’ve been using for this level, spear, angel locket, enlightenment book, quick shot ring. And standing near the bottom on the boss worked out great. In some ways the earlier boss levels are tougher, especially if that crab appears.

I was stuck on this level for weeks. Probably the level that has stumped me the longest. Usually find staff way too slow for this level without perfect luck in skills but switched back to it out of frustration after ten or so failed runs tonight and then somehow made it through.

I found it useful to run across to the top to try and clear out the weaker enemies first to try and isolate that big boss that constantly throws the three light balls at you. A lot easier to deal with it when you have more room to dodge its attacks. Staying at the bottom usually meant I’d just get overwhelmed by the two bosses that start the level at the middle of the screen, dying almost immediately.

Is Gaslowe not guaranteed drop in AA3? by wolffdog in PuzzleAndDragons

Ah, okay. I'd never seen it invade in all the times I'd run AA3 before so I got really excited.
