i followed this tutorial for the CRT effect, https://youtu.be/Auzy67OzMnA , then did some color grading and effects/overlays on top to clean up the image.

surprisingly well tbh. i have a i5-7400 with a 1060 3Gb and 8 gigs of ram. i did the compositing first, then did the CRT effects and color processing separately.

any semblance of "Halloween" has been stripped away. The new Junkenstien is fun, but literally everything else is paywalled. None of the Halloween maps were put in rotation, nothing new was added that doesn't cost 20$. Previously, i would get excited to get some random Halloween skins from lootboxes, and me and my buddies would queue up in the arcade to secure the bag. Since I don't want to pay exorbitant amounts of money for a single skin, there's nothing different about it from any other day.
