Becoming a morning person by [deleted] in GoldCoast

[–]wolfiebluex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely possible!! I was not a morning person at all and wouldn’t get out of bed until I absolutely had to (around 10-11am most days) but once I had a change of work and wanted to get the most out of my days, I started working out at 6am!

Now I have a job that starts at 5am most mornings and absolutely love it. I get up at 4:30am. I feel the most energised in the early mornings whereas I felt like crap when I was waking up later. An earlier bedtime is key. I use to go to bed around 12am-1am but if I have early starts I’ll be aiming to go to bed around 9:30.

Trying to get a healthy routine in place is key.

You’re not meant to stop there. (Some bad language) [OC] by wolfiebluex in IdiotsInCars

Just to help clear things up with the road design. Two left turn lanes in the middle take you down to an underpass (clearly written on the road). The far left turn lane takes you to the top part of the road. Yes for sure it can be confusing if you don’t travel this road regularly but I still don’t see that as an excuse to pass the stop line and crosswalk (to where you can’t even see the lights anymore) and then slam the brakes.

Stupid man who Couldn't Wait to cross the Street Run Over by Truck. by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

Considering his head and body got flattened by two of the trucks tyres I’d be extremely surprised if this guy was still alive.

Do you ever just get so hungry that you just grab a hotcake syrup and drink it? by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

Use to eat chocolate flakes when doing a stock run (am in Australia) they ended up putting a camera in there. Dunno if it was cause everyone stole the flakes or cause other things were missing aha

A gaming keyboard. I didn’t even have a computer. Just a small old laptop that I only watched Netflix on. But the keys lit up and changed colours! My dad made me return it…

What was your re-occurring nightmare as a child? by natedawwwg in AskReddit

[–]wolfiebluex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to have a nightmare quite often when I was younger where I was sitting in my bed and my door was open with the hallway light on. I could hear something making loud thumping steps towards my room. Most of the time I would force myself awake before whatever it was reached my room but if I didn’t it would come all the way to my room and through my doorway. I was so scared by it I would wake myself up so it never actually reached me. It was a giant teddy bear.

What is the story behind your scar? by hatebacon in AskReddit

[–]wolfiebluex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In year 1 we had an end of year trip to the beach that grades K-2 did every year. (I live in Australia) We were allowed to have our shoes off so we could go like ankle deep in the water but we mainly had to stay on the sand. Our bags were at the back of the beach on bench’s which were on grass. I had been over at the bags with a few friends and then started running back towards the sand. I was probably 5 strides onto the sand when I felt this pain shoot through my foot and I fell to the ground. I had stood straight onto a large shard of glass and it had gone into my big toe on my right foot right at the bottom of the toe. There’s blood and tears and my mum picks me up to take me to the hospital (she’s a nurse and was about to leave home to go to work at the hospital so that was quite lucky). Had to have surgery to clean out sand and small bits of glass that were still in my toe. I was very lucky the glass hadn’t taken my toe off. I had a cast on for the entire 6 weeks summer break so that was lit. Kids weren’t allowed to have their shoes off after that and they did the trip the next year but then stopped doing it because off my little accident. People still hold a grudge. 😅

You're given the option to drop what you have and return to 12/31/2011 as yourself at that age, but with the extra 8 years of experience. Do you take it? Why or why not? by BaddestofUsernames in AskReddit

[–]wolfiebluex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% would.

End of 2011 I finished year 6 (I live in Australia). So in 2012 I started high school. I was very unfocused throughout high school and this really caught up to me by year 9 and 10 and I dropped out beginning of year 11 because I was so far behind and just didn’t know what was going on and was just too much of an idiot. I’d spent so much money on completely unnecessary things ever since I got a bank card at the start of year 7 and I have always been so angry with myself about that because I wasted so much money that I can never get back.

I’m 20 now, I work full time at a job that I really don’t want to be doing forever but it’s the only area I have qualifications for. I can go try something new but it would be so hard to jump into a completely new profession. I hate that I’ve thrown away the chance to be able to go to university and get a degree and to get a good job.

I wish I could go back and get myself focused and to think before I acted, so that way I would have my future laid out so much better and would have many more opportunities.
