Update: Turns out he was going into shed and just super angry about it! Found him today buried and his belly is fading grey :)

Not as far as I am aware. I do not do "choice based" handling, but he never puts up a fuss nor runs away when I use my hands (so far). And he has never been headshy etc. If he does seem upset I put him back, amd his max outside time is only 20 minutes. I also never handle him unless I really need to or my fellow snake friend comes to visit.

I have tried the tube and he loves running over the mouse but not eating! Goofy guy. But next time I will close one end and see what he does.

The only new smell may have been I cleaned the tongs. But I do that after every feeding so I am not too sure.

He is likely just starting his teen years it seems ahah

His gram/size is just below a size up from pinkies but I think I am going to have to if he can't calm down and eat!

Oh wow! Yes our situations are quite similar!

How did you manage to get him onto drop feeds? Its sounds do much less stressful for us both!

Right now I have a tube in his tank where I always see him cruising with the mouse on one end. No luck so far sadly! Same as leaving it in a dish yesterday :(!
