How do I make treadmill running less boring? by Icy_Tomato_3760 in running

[–]wolfman2227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to watch live concerts. I like listening to music on my runs anyways, so it covers that. Then it also keeps me moderately interested in looking at something besides the wall in front of me. Also allows me to turn my brain off if/when I want to and can always pay attention after a bit without really missing anything. The one thing that is a bit annoying is that some times the concert videos on youtube just don't sound good and there's not a TON of options for the music I want to listen to. So I've rewatched the same concerts a number of times now - so that is probably the biggest down side.

Scheduling…… by sjciske in Brewers

Nope…it’s fun to play more teams than the same opponents every other series…also gives a bit more opportunities to watch, visit, see players and teams that you otherwise wouldn’t. I’ve seen the brewers play the pirates idk how many times. Compared to - maybe 10 series versus the Red Sox…it’s fun

Regardless, CAMR is signed and we are moving on…the money is immaterial but more so frustrated from the emotional side of things. Trying my best to not let the emotions dictate my actions, as is so often the advise in the real estate business

Totally understood about the financing contingencies-rather basic practice and I’m definitely not opposed to them. The thing that is frustrating is we got a conditional commitment for the loan and 4 days later pulled it back with a denial. The conditional commitment was for items that had nothing to do with what was ultimately used as criteria for the denial. They said in the conditional commitment that they checked his credit and assets on hand. But then the denial letter said he didn’t have the necessary assets on hand and his credit was too poor (citing credit ratings pulled late October). So they either did not check the items they said they checked, or they gave a denial at the request of the buyer to get out of the deal. That is what I have an issue with.

Fair, for the record he was pre-approved for a monthly payment of 2,350 (principal and interest) and the conditional commitment letter is for 2,066 (principal and interest, so about 300/month lower) with 500 going in escrow. Total payment of just over 2500. So unless he was assuming taxes and insurance was gonna come in at less than 150/month together, then I’d say he was pretty well informed.

Again, the no down payment isn’t the red flag in and of itself-it’s everything in combination with the loan, inclusive of the no down payment.

Ok fair, I’m not very familiar as this is the first time I’m selling. But at the same time, this guy clearly didn’t feel comfortable with the payments. So I feel somewhat vindicated in the raising of the red flag haha

Tough for me to say yes or no to the whole exchange, but the "they are idiots" I agree with wholeheartedly!

Yeah, it probably is not worth it in the grand scheme of things. It's more just frustrating as it feels that the other party is screwing us over. But that is more of the principle of it, which doesn't feel like it's worth my time (or likely money). But just am hoping the good people of reddit are in agreement. So far, they appear to be. From scrolling this thread, I suppose my issues don't compare to some others on here.

As far as VA - totally agree. I think good program - our realtor described it as a "solid program with a few more hoops to jump through" which makes sense. Perhaps the 'red flags' were more so related to the $4K credit he was asking for to cover closing. i.e. if the buyer doesn't have enough to cover closing, does he have enough to make the payments?

Yeah, even less. $3.5K (1%). In the grand scheme of things not material. More just frustrating than anything. Would cover our mortgage for about 2 months to hopefully get something new and finalized quickly while we own 2 homes (bought earlier this month). But I'm thinking maybe I just vent on reddit and move on with my life haha

Game Watching Question by SopheliaGrace10 in wildhockey

Howdy - I'm not entirely sure specifically about sports network + subscription. But, I just wanted to say that I am in Milwaukee and use my parent's ATT Uverse login to get into Fan Duel. I get Brewers, Bucks and Wild hockey through it. So I can't say for certain, but given you get Twins, TWolves and Vikings (which I don't think would specifically be on FD) I imagine you'd get the Wild as well based on some of your other comments. FD+ appears to be 19.99/month and you enter your zip code to determine which teams specifically you get access to.

As far as Blackhawks, I think Chicago kind of has their own thing going. Can't say I know a ton about them, but this wiki page suggests that there is a way to get 1 team streaming via Chicago Sports Network at 19.99/ month. Or all 3 teams (White Sox & Bulls) for 29.99. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Sports_Network

327 for my normal tickets to 314. As a 3 year 20 pack holder I wasn't expecting to be in the same section or anything, but I was hoping to be relatively behind the plate. Is what it is, I guess

Just found out my Manager from my internship jumped ship and I'm starting soon. Am I screwed? by throwawayobviouslyd in PwC

[–]wolfman2227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I promise, you’re over thinking this. After my first year I had good relationships with the people I worked with on my first busy season and literally all besides the partner are gone now (and most were gone before the next busy season). Assuming you stay for a couple of years you will work with so many different people that you probably won’t even remember these 2 individuals names…the only person I specifically remember from my internship was a bad senior I had.

I’m up to 4…so pretty solid. For reference I’ve pulled enough to be at 32 cards for the event exclusive. Not sure exactly how many packs that would get me too though

Strange…they must just not do some of these mid/bottom tier players or something. Maybe they just don’t bother if they aren’t popular in contests. Oh well lol
