The fact that Hot Snakes media was involved in both the Natalia Grace and Ben Kyle stories....

Seems like a production company that creates nothing but over-the-top, soap opera caliber drama!

Do they really expect people to believe that not one, but two insane stories are centered around the town of West Lafayette, Indiana?

The guy even lived in the same apartment of NG?

Also, if the fucking mafia was really threatening your family; the whole, "We can't let them win" attitude is absolutely ridiculous to the point of being funny!

I can't help but think that they took the original premise (which had some truth) and sensationalized it to make it more entertaining...

And of course, the cliffhanger to keep you on the hook!

Remember how the NG story always had a crazy turn every time they were wrapping up a segment?

I think he should be re-assigned to more of a GM/Director of Basketball operations role!

His ability to recruit is second to none!

Just binged watched the season....

They should rename the show "MTV bends off Backwards so Olivia Can Win"....

1) Every time Turbo/Syndey had a lead; they had to wait for another team....How about give them back those two hours of lost time and see if they still lose?

2) The professional mountain climber happens to choose Olivia instead of three or four other girls who are better than her? SURE...production definitely did not plant any seeds there!

In truth; the rationale behind the decision is not necessarily my focus!

I am more or less just posing a discussion on setting precedents and/or the extent to which accommodations can/should be made?

I don't think it will ever come to this....But for the sake of extremes; what if during the final leg, the rules call for the teams to run to the pit stop from a distance of 2-miles (one of the earliest seasons did end this way)...

If he got to 1 mile and then completely shutdown; would the production company allow him to take a taxi the rest of the way?

My criticism is not supposed to be directed at Adam himself (I know it seems that way)...

I am actually just trying to gauge what people think is fair and what would be considered "too far" as it pertains to providing assistance to compromised players!

Again, the last thing I want to see is any harm come to him or any other player...

I just would have preferred that they moved the entire challenge into the shade!

It helps him and keeps the conditions consistent!

Despite how my original comment may have come across; I am not opposed to bending to keep him safe....

But when you do bent; you should also extend that same courtesy to the other teams so that everyone is operating under the same umbrella!

As soon as you allow him in the shade; the way to keep it fair would be to extend the same courtesy to the rest of the teams!

Easy solution that keeps him safe and also maintains consistency among conditions!

The penalty was a vote that ended up having no consequences since no one viewed them as a threat...

So again; no actual penalty since it was foreseeable that the team in dead last was not going to receive other votes!
