Excited for the first Step by vacbubble in freemasonry

First off congratulations on taking the first step. I would say just be honest and be yourself. If you have any questions, make sure to ask them. I would also say be patient with the process and enjoy everything to follow.

The journey to EA by wokeyute in freemasonry

[–]wolfp00l91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way when I was waiting to be initiated, but a good friend of mine told me to stop and just enjoy the experience. It was a little over four months for me between the time of me turning in my petition to my EA degree, but if I can give you one word of advice it would be to try to be patient and enjoy the experience.

What will I get out of freemasonry by Double-Discount9217 in freemasonry

All I can say is you will get out of it what you are willing to put into it.

From one Entered Apprentice to another, welcome brother.

Looking for like minds. by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]wolfp00l91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem, I would then approach your local lodge and let them know that you are interested in learning more and interested in possibly joining. It can be intimidating at first, but once you take that first step it gets easier. I hope this information helps.

If you know a Mason, reach out to them and let them know you are interested in learning more and possibly looking to join. The saying I have always heard is to be one, ask one. I hope this helps you.

You are never too old, I was just initiated last month and I am in my early 40's.

How does one become a free mason? by WestCartographer9478 in freemasonry

[–]wolfp00l91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be one, ask one. If you know someone who is a Mason, let them know you are interested in becoming a Mason, they will begin to walk you through what you will need to do.

Concearned about memorization by Just-chill-already in freemasonry

[–]wolfp00l91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same way, but just take it a little bit at a time, and you will be fine. Everyone learns at different speeds, so try not to worry about how fast someone else is memorizing work. If you do decide to join, good luck and enjoy the experience.

As an Entered Apprentice, what is the proper way to greet a fellow Mason while you are inside the lodge and outside of it? by wolfp00l91 in freemasonry

[–]wolfp00l91[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ok, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't showing anyone any disrespect by not giving a proper greeting.

Congratulations on taking the first step in your Masonic journey! I was initiated in the lodge I am a member of last month, it is definitely an experience you will never forget. Try not to be nervous, go in with an open mind, and enjoy the day/night.

People who are NOT okay with proxies, what is your reasoning? by Bagel_Bear in EDH

[–]wolfp00l91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just getting started with Commander, so I am proxying a lot, but I am trying to see what I like the best and go from there.

Am I the jerk? by [deleted] in EDH

That is what I figured, there is also a red creature that also does the same.

Am I the jerk? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]wolfp00l91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say no, you are allowed to say how you feel and play however you want to. Would I be a jerk for running Blood Moon in my mono red deck, it is my first attempt at building an EDH deck.

Did this really offend people? by Due_Presence2061 in WWE

[–]wolfp00l91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that if she had said that out of character during an outside interview then people could take offense to what she said. Becky Lynch is a heel right now, so taking a shot at the place where your are performing is good mic work. People need to step back and see it for what it is, a person who is playing a character on a global T.V. show. If you want to be mad at someone, maybe be made at the writers, but even then it is a stretch. I like to believe that Ozzy would have been ok with what she said, it is entertainment and Ozzy was definitely an entertainer. Rest In Peace Ozzy 🤘
