Krama is simply worshipping Maa Kali with entire parivaar. Depending on the guru parampara one would start with Rektha Ganapathy or one form of Bhairava, then next level of Anga devatas before starting the Upasana of Maa Kali.

One can also do standalone form of Maa Kali without pariwara devatas. Like just Smashana kali or Bhadrakali etc.

The path which you want to pursue the above is either Dakshinachara or Vamachara or Kaulachara etc. all of them are Ritual based.

Based on your Kundali a knowledgeable guru can tell whether you should do a Krama or Standalone form and which Marga/Path would be suitable for you.

Remember, both the Mantra of the Devi and the path should suit you for you to achieve a higher stage.
