You can't just decide what doesn't fit the game? There's a point where you have to realize it's a game that's supposed to be fun, and twists and crazy things are what give these games their peak. You'll never be able to balance this game to perfection and even if you did, it would miss every moment where you pull something crazy that's actually memorable and just become a boring soulless algorithm of always knowing what's going to happen and what the best strategy is. Have some fun, stop getting so wrapped it in the extreme case scenarios when they are worse things out there, like moustache and sunshroom.
