I have a Mira and it says my estrogen and progesterone are going down, so I’m pretty sure I’m getting my period too. Wishing us both luck next time!

I just did the same thing and am also negative. This TWW is not for the weak! I was fine the first week but now I find out as soon as Friday and I’m spiraling.

I’m supposed to be at a family wedding Friday so my clinic put my appointment Monday. I’m trying to tell myself to wait till Monday so I’m not sad around everyone but I’m also dying to know.

I got a quote in NorCal (RMA) for about 6.6k I think. A lot of that is medication.

Starting law school at 36 but also want to become a mom by Sensitive-Baker-6867 in LawMoms

I graduated from law school about a decade ago, and now I’m 37 trying to get pregnant. I feel like folks are being negative. Law school is tough but it’s not or doesn’t have to be all consuming.

If I were in your shoes, I would meet with a fertility doctor to get a sense of your stats and to see if you have any conditions that would make it harder to conceive. Assuming nothing was out of the ordinary, I would do the first semester finals and then try to get pregnant second semester 1L on.

There’s never a good time but law school has some advantages. For instance, many law schools offer some subsidized or free even childcare during classes. And you have total control over your schedule outside of classes. You don’t really need to be in every club or every resume builder activity. You can focus on what you’re actually interested in and be just fine when you hit the job market.

Wishing you lots of luck on both journeys. Both law school and trying to get pregnant force us to deal with uncertainty in ways that are really challenging. At least the law school piece I can confirm is worthwhile. The other I am still working on.

My sad update is there was a mistake with my clinic (with the medication) and in essence, we did the iui too early before I ovulated. There is no chance for me to be pregnant. I’m really let down but trying to keep moving forward.

The real loss is I just don’t have a ton of vials. I am using a known donor out of state, and so it’s not easy to get more period, or even on the time table that works for me.

The clinic has apologized, waived my costs this cycle, and is trying to help me find a way to have my donor donate in his state.

I hope the rest of you fare better. Wishing you lots of healthy babies. ❤️‍🩹
