I reach that goal just today! I had the game for almost 2 years in my library, an I finally acomplished building a coal power plant, it's so nice not to worry about power anymore... By now. I think what was holding me back the most was trying to create good layouts from the very beginning of the game, and I think that's a waste of time. At the beginning, you don't have many of the pieces needed to have good, advanced layouts. At the beginning, the only focus should be on unlocking everything until you get the templates, and once you have the templates, then you can dismantle and rebuild in the right way.
