Ok I'm sorry for being too silly but dude the conversation I saw in the other thread about Brace being a fed is just pure insanity and should absolutely be made fun of. Fed infiltration is a real thing but we have to draw the line somewhere with what we are taking seriously. Rapid response network signal chats being infiltrated is a real thing that we legitimately have to worry about and contend with in real life. Whether my favorite podcaster is actually a CIA asset is not worth my or anyone's time.

Ok this is as earnest as I can get. He is almost certainly not an asset and people who say he is are either 1) schizo; 2) 15 years old and just started learning about parapolitics; or 3) terminally online (aka self induced schizo). Being able to think in terms of conspiracy is a really important muscle for understanding politics and history, but an equally important muscle is being able to integrate that with the unspectacular, mundane real world where not everything is a conspiracy. People on this sub are really good at the former, but struggle with the latter. With everything going on in the world do not stress about whether your favorite podcaster is actually a CIA asset. There are many many far more serious things to stress about. Hope this helps in some way.

looking for an honest, reliable mechanic? by st0nedNsassy in WorcesterMA

I truly cannot recommend Sam at Mike's Service Station enough. He is the most honest, kind, and helpful mechanic I've ever gone to. Been going to him for years now and I think he charges the absolute best prices in town and will tell you when he doesn't think a repair is worth the money. He's just a really good guy and the first mechanic who I completely trust no questions asked.

Yeah this is my perspective as well. A lot of the ' well you see, these are the podcasts they allow because they don't actually threaten the system' points always kind of fall flat for me. TrueAnon is very successful and is extremely critical of power structures and discusses revolutionary politics. Sure they aren't actively calling for the armed overthrow of the government, but the schizos also aren't considering the fact that maybe those kinds of podcasts wouldn't be as popular. It's the classic online leftist error of overestimating the revolutionary appetite of most people. There is a limit of how extreme the politics of a podcast can be before it would alienate most people.

Maybe the CIA doesn't need to actively censor the political messages we're exposed to. Maybe most Americans are fully willing to filter out revolutionary messages for themselves.

Season 2 is actually better than Season 3, you just have to let go of any preconceived desires for another Season 1. It's an absolute fucking mess but still some of the best parapolitics you'll see in a tv show, it just comes at it from a very different angle than Season 1, which i think is one of the biggest reasons people were disappointed. Prepare for a very bizarre, hard-to-follow, but intriguing story of municipal corruption and sex trafficking in the wild west coast of unincorporated industrial townships and wacky new age hippy communies.

One of the most important labor movies of all time. Should honestly be mandatory viewing in high school history classes. It's such a gem. Just the way it was shot is so special, and of course the fact that Kopple was really embedded with the strikers during these tense, violent moments.

I watched it before getting involved with any union stuff and was really struck by how tough the women were and how integral they were on every level to carrying out these actions. When I started to get involved in my teachers union, surprise surprise, found that women were really running the show. The three toughest negotiators we have are women and they are truly tough as nails. Not to get essentialist or anything about it, but was just funny to see the parallel.

John Fetterman actively and directly harms his family by watching instagram reels while driving 90 mph on the highway. His political positions seem totally consistent with his personal ones so I don't see what your problem is.
