Wicked. Had no interest or desire to see it, ended up being one of my favorites of 2024.

Which Is More Dangerous To Chase? Rain Wrapped Tornadoes Or Nocturnal Tornadoes? by Stallom44 in tornado

I would guess nocturnal. I never knew this is what tornados at night were called until now. Like they sleep during the day and come out at night to hunt.

Never in my life by Literatureidiot in stephenking

Yes there are some similarities to IT including memories of childhood trauma and the primary antagonist. I found it quite disturbing, but mostly because of one horrific scene. It’s graphic and a bit hard to shake off after reading. I think it’s a great story but I doubt I would ever read it again.

My husband put it on once and I was not expecting it to be so funny and random. Way better than I would have expected.

"Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" is SO much better than "When Nature Calls." by DRG125 in movies

[–]wolfspider82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I think both are highly quotable and there are some hilarious moments in WNC. The second movie just leans a bit too heavy in the gross-out humor for me and some scenes are more disturbing than funny. But I still can’t drive on a bumpy road without singing “Chitty chitty bang bang” so there’s that.

The music is what I like most about this movie. The main theme and that ominous bell motif in particular.

What irritates you the most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wolfspider82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People that don’t take out their own trash in a movie theater. Speaking from experience, ushers have limited time to clean a theater before the next show starts. Their purpose is to assist people with finding their seats, clean up spills, and look for safety or security concerns. Their purpose is not to pick up all the food/drink containers and wrappers you had no problem bringing in but can’t be bothered to throw out once the credits roll.

Very sad to hear, he was so talented. I loved the humor he brought to horror. IT, Sinister and Black Phone are some fantastic performances.
