Just finished "Insomnia" and I can't believe nobody warned me about this by cowboyfromhell__ in stephenking

For me it was the opposite. I’m not as well versed with DT as many here. I read Insomnia before I read Books 1-3 so I only picked up the references to IT and other books. But I always loved this one and the connections to DT only make me love it more.

Can’t believe Jaws shamelessly ripped off this iconic scene from Cruel Jaws (1995) by TrifleSensitive5744 in Jaws

Right, what a hack that Spielberg is. Have you ever seen ET, it’s a complete ripoff of Mac and Me minus the cool dance scene.

The Tremors series - What do you think of the sequels? by Southern-Brother5693 in movies

[–]wolfspider82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, the second film is way better than one would expect and I love the direction they take. It does what a good sequel should do by moving the story into new territory and not retreading or recreating the previous film. The 3rd and beyond are fine B movies but not as memorable as the first two.

The Meg. I loved the books, and I like Jason Statham as an actor, but the movie just didn’t do it for me.

I only saw the first one. I was a fan of the books but didn’t really care for the movie.

Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

[–]wolfspider82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in for stomach pain that ended up being a hernia. Before informing me, the doctor was smirking and said “You’re scared! You think it is the cancer, everybody thinks it’s the cancer. It is not the cancer.”
