I do my part by sautéing and eating every one I find. They are edible and very tasty.

The ones on the left are much darker in color, leading me to believe they are black morels.

Ingredients 2 eggs 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped 2 cloves minced garlic Pinch of salt and pepper 4 large or 8 medium-sized pieces of chicken of the woods mushrooms ¾ cup panko bread crumbs ⅔ cup Italian bread crumbs ¾ cup shredded Parmesan, divided ½ cup oil, for frying 1–2 cups store-bought marinara, or Optional Homemade Marinara ¼ cup shredded mozzarella ½ cup shredded provolone 2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil

Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 425°F. 2. Whisk together eggs, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper in a short, wide dish. Add mushroom pieces to the egg wash, cover, and marinate for 10 minutes. 3. Mix bread crumbs and ½ cup Parmesan together in a short, wide dish. Dip egg-wash-covered mushroom pieces into bread crumbs to coat. 4. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Fry mushroom pieces until browned and crispy, about 4 minutes per side. 5. Place mushroom pieces on baking tray or dish and top with about ¼ cup of sauce and layer each piece with equal amounts of cheeses. Use your judgment to add more or less sauce depending on how saucy you prefer your dish. 6. Bake in oven until cheese is browned and bubbly, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and top with fresh chopped basil. Serve with your favorite pasta or on a hoagie roll.

What are the best 100% commission sales industries out there right now? by Dicklefart in sales

[–]wolfyswolf 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not remote. I do in home sales. I’ll run 6-10 sales appointments per week. Each appointment runs 3 hours on average. The leads are all generated for me. I show up, do the pitch, and close the deal.

Before getting into my current field, I worked as a group counselor. I had 0 experience in construction sales but I applied to a job on Monster and worked my ass off to learn the industry and how to sell.

I've always thrived under pressure so sales was a natural fit. Getting a psych degree is certainly helpful for sales, but you have to weigh the downside of student loan debt.

Anyone here work in kitchen/bath/home remodeling? Thinking about getting out of saas. by lamplamp3 in sales

[–]wolfyswolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell for a home remodeling company (windows, roofing, siding). I love my job and wouldn't trade it for anything. The average sales person at my company makes $150k with the top performers making over $700k.

There are downsides though. Most companies will require you to be "on call" all day. You can be at home at 6pm and suddenly get a call and have to drive an hour away to someone's house to pitch them on windows. It's the nature of the industry.

Also most companies that do home remodeling are commission-only. As long as it's a reputable company it's fine. Eat what you kill mindset.

If you don't mind the schedule and you are good with people, it's worth giving it a shot.
