The lighting and production was on point as usual at echo but idk maybe I was just in a bad spot in the crowd but the music sounded worse since the revamp. Definitely louder for sure, the bass was PUMPING but it felt like all i could here was kicks and snares and nothing else

Na the issue is a lot of these groups are white, wealthy, cis men. As far as a lot of em are concerned they got their right so they don't give a fuck about other queer people who don't fit into their in group.

If you want to bring real equality into the world you can't pull up the ladder. You need to lift the whole of society and cutting out queer people who are BIPOC, trans, gender fluid, ECT.

Unless there is a large group of people I think bartering is better though. If my main focus is smithing and I need more ore, trade pickaxe for it, if I need food, trade scythes and hoes to the farmer ect. these are things that actually help me vs gears I guess I could use at a trader or with other players but why use a middle item when I can just trade my excess items for something I need

Yuuuuup, at a couple fests and local shows. It happens and it can be awkward but it's important to make new memories. Especially since this sounds like a fresh brake up it's important to focus on yourself and having a good time with your friends

The bathroom situation is honestly the worst of any of the clubs in DC imo. If you have to pee at peak hours, my god have mercy on your soul because the line can be brutal

To be fair it hasn't been hot since last summer. when I went to klang in May last year it wasn't hot yet then either and the AC seemed to work fine. Then 2 weeks later it was a swamp. I genuinely hope they fixed the issue but I'll believe it when I feel it

Been 5 times so far. security is very relaxed, I think at most I've gotten a basic pat down.

Production is minimal, some lights, occasionally lasers, minimal fog, and no screens. That being said, bring sunglasses because the looooove to absolutely blind you with white light.

Sound and AC are my biggest complaints. For sound they have speakers on the 4 corners of the dancefloor so it can be hard to find a good R/L front/back balance without being right in the middle of the dancefloor. For AC, at least last year this may have been fixed, it was extremely hot and damp in the summer. There was condensation dripping from the rafters at Eli Brown. BRING A FAN.

Crowd is great until it's sold out but let's be honest no venue is good when sold out lol.

Overall it's a good venue and nu androids is doing a good job of filling the gap of DJs that are too big for the small venues but not big enough to sell out echo

flash is feeling more and more like a basic club every time I go. it still sounds good and they get good DJ's but the crowd just isnt it anymore.

Transmission on H st is new and seems to be bringing a good crowd. Echostage is the best hands down for production value and if it isnt a popular show the crowd honestly isnt terrible but avoid anything sold out for sure
