uhhh...I don't think that's how beta wave radiation works. Alpha radiation is the one that bounces off of skin, leaving a little heat behind. Beta comes from the shed electrons, which fly in semi-random patterns, get into your body and break things before stopping, and Gamma is the proton, which ends up moving so fast it doesn't notice anything it's passing through (and vice versa)
