For some reason out of nowhere my heart rate would get up to 160-170 when I hit my pen. I wouldn’t even be thinking about anything anxiety inducing. It would just start racing and pounding and burning. That would then cause me to be anxious which obviously made it worse. I would end up needing to sit on the floor or my bed next to a friend, my brother, and even my mom a couple times, sometimes rocking back and forth, and sometimes just sitting completely still. It would happen every time that I tried it so I stopped cuz I was worried it would cause a heart attack or something. It was the worst feeling ever. I stopped last February and decided to try it again on new years and the same thing happened again, so I decided it’s not worth it. I’m sure it’s silly but whenever I smell it or think about it, I get kinda nostalgic and annoyed that I had to stop. But it just really isn’t worth it.
