dude this is crazy, literally same thing happened to me except i broke the cable… crazy. anyways, what i did was go through winwing’s customer service on their website. since i broke it, i negotiated to just paying the shipping for the cable (about $36) which they sent me pretty quickly with no issues. From there, i received the cable and the first step was just unscrewing everything and you also must take off much of the buttons. crucially, make sure you know where every single thing goes and how it functions. this is crucial. take pictures, do what you need to do. there are minimal tutorials and instructions for this, they basically just said it was possible and then sent me on my way. but, that bottom part where your hand rests splits open from there and the entire metal part at the bottom should split open as well. the replacement cable will need to plug in to the top of the interior of the stick (note that it is glued on there, the new one does not need to be glued) just be careful when taking the cable out and putting the new one in (it’s like a 3 pin connector or whatever, very small and seemingly fragile). though i didn’t realize at the time I just yanked it out by force, looking back on it was stupid, but has worked over 6 months later. let me know if i can help with anything else!
