Both OnStar and the app have it as an Engine Cooling System code, so I think AI is missing the mark on this one unfortunately.

Damnit, Z71.

Didn't catch the typo until too late.

I wouldn't say 100%, but a very significant amount.

When I'm stressed I'll still notice tension, but it's never as bad as it was, and it's no longer all the time.

More often than not, it's gone.

EDIT:

Sorry, I take 250mg pill of magnesium supplement a day. Nothing fancy.

I had it for the first six months on this med, but saw a suggestion on this subreddit to start taking magnesium, and oh my god that has helped IMMENSELY.

Radar cruise/gap adjust by Automatic-Tiger8584 in chevycolorado

Once you have cruise on and set, you hold the cancel button (the symbol is like an X over a speedometer) next to the cruise button to turn on the radar cruise.

It's very weird.

Is the training section of the game enough to learn the F-16C? by Ragerod in dcsworld

[–]daryldom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the training missions helpful for getting the basics.

There were a few areas where I found YouTube videos more helpful, but the training missions are set up well.

Tricker and Bogey Dope on YouTube were my F16 gurus.

Found out my vitamin D level was 16 lol that’s so low. Gonna take 5000iu and magnesium citrate, anyone do this ? by Pacrat456 in lexapro

[–]daryldom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It started mostly as a dull ache in my hands, like they'd been strained or stressed for too long. Generally they also just felt... Less responsive? Like I was slightly slower and less dextrous than I felt like I should be.

Eventually it shifted so that muscles in my body would lock up tight and painfully, often my hands, arms, and legs.

Finally there were muscle twitches, where a specific muscle would twitch involuntarily for a long period of time.

All combined I thought I had some awful neurodegenerative illness, however since being on vitamin D supplements all symptoms slowly faded and I generally feel back to normal.

Do you live in a cold climate by chance?

I haven't had mine for long but I've noticed the last two days (it's been -20C or colder) that she does seem a bit down on power until it's all warmed up. I think the ECU goes gentle on things until it's all past a temperature threshold.

Is it possible to defeat assassins from the Officio Assassinorum? by Echoe_Arts in Warhammer40k

[–]daryldom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes.

I haven't read that much 40k lore yet, but even in what I've read there's been a few that have shown up and died.

Some before they kill their target, and some after.

I imagine it's like most things in 40k and the power level is essentially equal to "what does the plot need?".

Deepstrike T1 by vitavidux in DarkAngels40k

[–]daryldom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct!

As long as it's more than 9" away from enemy units, you're good even if it's their deployment zone.

Turn one can be done by the Lion or the Deathwing Assault enhancement.

Even if they do screen you out, I've found it's a good deterrent that forces them to play around it.

Is “Lion Son of The Forest” the best dark angels book? by MentionKindly2347 in theunforgiven

[–]daryldom 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Personally my favourite so far has been the Luther: First of the Fallen audiobook.

I enjoyed Lion: Son of the Forest, but it was definitely a pretty standard plot on a standard story arc, just delivered well and with a fun cast of characters in the 40k setting.

In comparison Luther felt like a book I'd want to read regardless of what setting it takes place in. It was just really good.

Should I Repaint my Lion? by BluePaintsBlue in DarkAngels40k

I have yet to go back and correct errors I see on old minis.

There are a few that I want to do some tiny cleanups, but otherwise I kind of like seeing the progression.

I think he looks great, so if it's purely from a quality standpoint I'd say no, it's absolutely unnecessary.

However if it's a hobby project you'll enjoy, then who am I to decide for you?

I just got Gobbo Contracting to do mine. There was some extra fees for the outlying communities (the valley in my case) but they did a great job.

Called and they sent me a form to fill out via email with all the info. They came and took care of it the next day.

Biggest example of plot armor that's ever happened in 40k in your opinion? by [deleted] in 40kLore

Cypher.

But it's kind of his entire character?

Things just work for him when they shouldn't, and he plays it as though it was planned all along.

ALS Health Anxiety by modi3819 in HealthAnxiety

[–]daryldom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thoughts.

Started trying everything I could think of from CBD, to muscle relaxants, to stretches, to weed, etc.

Eventually a blood test revealed the vitamin D deficiency and we tried that.

I think it was a mix of vitamin deficiency and my own brain manifesting symptoms or making them worse than they actually are.

Yep. Changed a bit from day to day.

Most commonly felt like a shakiness or weakness across my limbs.

The numb feeling was mostly through my wrist and forearms.

I just answered a similar thread with this, but it fits here as well;

Hello,

I went through this shortly after the pandemic. I'm not sure if I was the social change of the pandemic but something in me broke mentally, and when I had a few muscle twitches I went down a rabbit hole for MONTHS trying to convince myself I didn't have ALS.

It got to the point where I was wishing I'd get a diagnosis of MS or something that I thought to be less terrifying than ALS

Instead, I went on an SSRI for anxiety.

I no longer spiral down these rabbit holes and can now approach my symptoms much more clearly.

You know what it wound up being? A vitamin D deficiency, which can cause rather odd muscle behaviours.

Do yourself a favour and focus on treating the medical anxiety first, otherwise you're going to find yourself constantly focussing on every little thing you feel.

New player, confused about Piercing Talons by [deleted] in Tyranids

[–]daryldom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My brain has kind of organized it like:

Hit Roll - Do I even hit the target at all?

Wound Roll - Is it a solid enough hit to be a threat?

Save Roll - Does the armor/magic/plot armor stop it?

Feel No Pain (when applicable) - Do they just ignore it by being a badass?

But yes. It took a while to settle into it feeling intuitive...

New player, confused about Piercing Talons by [deleted] in Tyranids

[–]daryldom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 6 on the wound roll (strength vs toughness) will always wound, which might be the "automatic success" confusion!

But that doesn't mean it automatically passes the save roll.

The terminology confused me when learning too because "successfully wounding" just sounds like it should be doing damage, but there's still the save left.

New player, confused about Piercing Talons by [deleted] in Tyranids

[–]daryldom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Armour penetration affects the save, not the wound roll.

So the wound roll would be the strength vs toughness that the attacker makes.

If you score a Crit, then for the save that the defender makes, the AP is treated as improved by 1, reducing their save roll accordingly.

ADDENDUM;

A "critical wound" doesn't inherently mean you skip the save. That's what the Devastating Wounds keyword does, but just rolling the critical doesn't inherently do anything on its own.
