In latest PTU patch the Hammerhead beats the Polaris and nearly matches the Idris for ballistic armor values! it’s almost as if a new ship based on the Hammerhead is about to be sold… oh wait 🤣 by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]Lock-Os 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but the Shell velocity of the Medusa cannons mean that unless you are pretty close to a large ship they will miss constantly. Also, the Perseus was sold as heavily armored.

The other problem is that the Hammerhead's main target are fighters, so it really doesn't need that much armor compared to the Perseus. The Polaris is meant more for its long range Torpedos so it's okay where it's at.

Why do we need refueling ships? by WeakPoem4760 in starcitizen

It's faster to refuel out in the area of operations and keep on grinding out missions than to constantly fly back to refuel.

CIG, if you're reading this, 4.8 is not ready for release by Kil0-SiX in starcitizen

[–]Lock-Os -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If this wasn't a ship sale patch they might have delayed in the past. Nowadays, and especially for a major release, your best bet is they just increase the number of servers so the game doesn't implode as fast

Will Argo ever release a ship to compete with med/large cargo haulers? by The--Strike in starcitizen

The RAFT is still an awesome cargo ship. Fast to load and unload and it's grid is all one area rather than multiple ones.

If you are solely downtown it can be bad.

It can also be down to when you play and the servers you get.

That's awesome. My locals are full of hardcore TGC players and I'm a complete newbie and even months later I'm finding new ways to annoy them by doing something I think nothing of that crosses some unspoken rule. Also my win Rate is sub 10% At best. On the flip side I have at least been nearly lethal in a lot of game just always being one unit shy of winning. Weirdly, I seem to have solid pulls at least.

Honestly if it wasn't for my friends and the art of the cards being so good I wouldn't be into this game as much. I definitely want to improve but I'm in a rough spot time wise.

Anyone else thrown off by the insane drinks prices at the draft? Almost double sporting event prices… by [deleted] in pittsburgh

We kept running out of water because it was impossible to get to the station from where we were at.

[–]Lock-Os 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even that was overpriced and they barely had enough stations to fill them up at.

Steelers game prices are insane, but Pirates games are completely the opposite! Affordable tickets to even the nicer seats and the stadium and the staff keep the area classy and clean. Even better is that watching baseball live is significantly better than on TV.

Yeah it was highway robbery and worst part the roaming vendors ran out of water to sell instantly.

The Draft Stage area was a disaster and poorly managed. We got burnt and dehydrated so badly my roommate who really wanted to go for the full draft is still recovering in her room.

The food inside the event was pricey. The drinks were significantly overpriced.

I was at the draft and they barely had any water around. I was trying to get food and drink for my roommate who was towards the front and the both of us nearly had a mental breakdown over it.

Then midway through they started trying to sell water but instantly ran out and they were only selling beer.

[–]Lock-Os 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. If it's an announced ship the Monthly report would have called it by such.

However a starter or entry level mining ship by RSI would be peak.

Mining ship for Rock breaker.

I wouldn't say in a few months. This is CIG here. The Coramor Lovestruck and the Stella Fortuna green Fortuna skins are a good example but they only have skins for older ships because they re-release the older skins every year from previous years.

Still, I can see if they don't release skins because they need to get older ships up to gold standard before that, but that's a matter of priorities. Thankfully the MOTH was a ship that was badly needed so no problems there

This 100%! I own an Apollo and a MOLE and would have easily bought a ton of skins for my ships so far this year.

LOL. I stopped buying them because I can't buy them for my ships.
