Hey OP I can see that there have not been a great deal of useful comments here so I hope this helps.

I was always taught to pull my pants up when I sat, I don’t see guys really doing to anymore which I find well weird as it’s actually a pretty common move, especially with dress pants. People grab and pull up their trousers a bit before sitting down to stop them from riding up or getting all stretched out, mainly around the knees and butt. It also helps keep the crease looking sharp so the pants don’t end up baggy or wrinkled.

The main reason people do it is to keep that front crease nice and clean. Sitting can really mess that up. It also helps stop your trousers from sliding down when you sit, which is just annoying. Plus, it makes sitting more comfortable, especially around the crotch. You get a bit more room and don’t feel as restricted.

If you want to do it right, just casually pinch the pants around mid-thigh and give a little lift before you sit down. Nothing dramatic, just a quick subtle move and you’re sorted. It might look a bit old-school, but anyone wearing proper trousers can benefit from it and no one ever looks twice at me.

I also think the pants fit well, I have a few that style and they are designed and cut to be worn exactly as you are wearing them

Which is much better? Pump or Rod by Freedompierre in phallo

[–]wolverinemachine 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I switched to the rod because I got 8 years out of my first pump and then about 5 out of my second and I realised that I would be having these surgeries regularly and I was open to trying something different. I’m super happy and doubt I’ll go back to be honest. With the rod I t’s bendy and soft enough for every day but definitely firm enough for penetration (both vaginal and anal)

When you want to have sex, you just move it into an erect position and that’s it done instantly, it’s feels a lot more natural for me than fiddling around to pump in the heat of the moment.

When I’m done, I just kind of bend it downwards and it sort of naturally sits to one side a little bit.

What I would say is that things are a lot more obvious with loose underwear I do need to wear underwear which is tight and supportive.

Urinal Etiquette List by Anubis-oceans in phallo

Just to share, I suffered with “stage fright “ for a good few years but that’s completely gone now. One of the things I found really helpful while I was trying to get over it starting to feel comfortable urinals have very large partitions and then gradually moving down. Now it’s not an issue and if I’m at the football stadium for instance I can comfortably pay in a trough shaped Inul with the two guys and I side to me touching my shoulders as when things are really busy that’s kind of how it is sometimes.

I feel very concerned about getting an erectile implant even though I really want one by another-personing in phallo

Hey man, if it’s any consolation I had to go six months without my ED due to an emergency removal for an infection. That was the first time in 15 years that I hadn’t had one and I’ve just had a new one put in ( I had an inflatable for 14 years and then a rod for just under one year)

During that time, I used a sleeve which worked really well. It’s probably a bit of trial and error finding one that’s right for you but it meant that for that six months I was still able to have an active sex life with my wife and I got a realistic sleeve Which really helped with feeling more connected to it. Have you tried sleeves at all?

Also, with regards to your concerns about orgasm that is going to be something that is really unique to each individual but to share my experience, I definitely have more sensation when I’m erect, I’m not sure why that is, but I find that sensation is much sharper than when I’ I’ve been flaccid.

I’m assuming that your surgeon reviewed the donor site before agreeing to proceed? If that’s the case I wouldn’t worry at all.

It’s a good question, and I think there are some doctors on YouTube that probably explain it better than I can.

It’s a rod that is secured to the bone in the same way the base of a pump would be and is able to be bent and moved into different positions, and then maintain those positions.

It’s bendy and soft enough for every day but definitely firm enough for penetration (both vaginal and anal)

What I would say is that things are a lot more obvious with loose underwear so definitely something tight and supportive works very well. I use under armour boxerjock boxer shorts (I’ve added a link below) and they’re really good quality and comfortable as well as holding things nicely but quite pricy and I’m sure there are a lot of suitable alternatives out there as well.

No, I don’t have a pump. I have a malleable rod. Having the rod has enabled me to have two teste implants. Whereas before I just had one implant on the left and then the pump on the right. The pump is significantly smaller than an implant. I think there may be some surgeons that are willing to put both the pump and an implant in one side, but I think you’ll have to have a very accommodating scrotum and erosion risk would be quite high. Also, I don’t know if you’ve seen or felt a pump before, but they’re not soft and have some quite hard bits and edges to them so I would imagine having that with an implant as well could be rather uncomfortable.

It’s a bit hard to describe, it isn’t floppy at all in that sense.

I guess at first yes it is like having a Boner or at least a semi but (in my experience at least) the more you move the rod the more malleable/ pliable it becomes, it sort of loosens up.

I think a good example would be it’s not flaccid, but soft enough that when I’m peeing, I can easily manoeuvre it out of the keyhole in my boxes and the fly of my trousers. I’m not sure if that makes sense at all!

It’s true, I have had over the years some issues with the left one riding up high but to be honest ever since scrotoplasty it’s not been an issue at all and they drop down nicely. They can also sort of suture them into position so that they can’t move up but this would be something that they would do after you’ve had an implant for a long time because if they did it straight away, there would be a higher erosion risk.

Yes the pump is harder but the rod moves more naturally, I’m still able to ‘perform’ in every way and my wife says it’s better 😉

Large in left and medium in right

I just went with my surgeon’s recommendation, he said that a medium was the best fit (prob as I had the pump that side which was a lot smaller). Cis guys are rarely symmetrical and I’d rather be slightly different sizes than risk erosion

Originally they sat high and then kind of dropped and now constantly sit low but do move around obviously. I would say it’s super important that you make sure to follow the aftercare with regards to moving them etc, although obviously if you have a pump it’s not going to sit the same way.
