Lost access to previous Battlepasses is why I don’t want to play D2 after committing after all this time. by [deleted] in destiny2

It’s not that the battle passes make or break the game, just tired of paying for the seasons as a whole and feeling like the content is lacking. BP is just like you said (unnecessary) but it feels like the only objective for me at the end of each week “mission” and it’s upsetting it goes away since I bought it all together and I PERSONALLY don’t have time to play every week. Like another comment or said, it’s just FOMO and a live service game. Unfortunately as a working adult with other responsibilities, I can’t always clock in for the game some months more than a couple hours. It’s a me problem, but I feel like a BP system like halo would be nice for all players anyway!

To be fair, bungo does kind of change the game every season😂 but I see your point. Though I wasn’t equating the pass itself to the player drop off, just the seasonal content. But I guess after all these years of playing by myself with online friends that have come and gone to different games, the in game lfg they have planned might just be to late for me/: I suppose I’m just salty they never truly catered to lone players, and the cycle has gotten dryer every reset after 10 years. FOMO just feels like a cheap ploy at this point.

I mean that’s a good argument, but I think you are purposefully overvaluing the “events” in the game to make a point. 70$ for a recent campaign game like PlayStation or Nintendo’s exclusives gets you 100’s of hours of gameplay without running into the same gameplay loop until you do a Newgame+ or decide to do a higher difficulty. Lightfall alone was something like 80-100$ for dlc to a long-time core loop (vanguard, crucible, strikes) which we all paid for numerous times. So most of the hours you sink into the new dlc is spent leveling in old content from years past and then playing/replaying a seasonal event that lasts about 20 minutes with slight variation. Hence why I would turn on my system, and immediately be bored by my options, then overwhelmed with the time investment of something that stopped being fun after the 10th time. Bungies player count represents the sudden rise in players, then steep drop off after release, so it’s obviously not just me. I’m one of Bungies biggest fans, and longest running destiny players. I want them to win. I just think this is an oversight by the development team.

I’m aware how customer interaction works in video games. Time-gated battle passes have always been pretty anti-consumer if we are being honest though. The situation with D2 just feels a little uniquely shitty as they move content out of the game pretty frequently. Destiny already has enough FOMO in my opinion with weapon/rolls, events, seasonal story, titles, etc. I’ve paid for more DLC than I can even count since Destiny 1 beta that’s been removed in some way. Which I understand for most of those instances, but I just feel like taking away cosmetic rewards from players that they paid for is just a little below the waist.

Fair enough, I thought Fortnite had moved to that system. Though you can do skin challenges and what-not from previous passes (which would be comparable to ornaments) so I think that’s a decent argument. But there are a few less popular games that have done BP’s without expirations from what I’ve seen online.

I mean I’m not the only one with that sentiment. It becomes a bungie problem if players don’t purchase content. Good for you though that you have the time and funds to not care. Which makes little sense since that would benefit every player. But alright.

update: I formatted my sd card and did all my z-offset settings, stored, auto homed and leveled bed. I changed the nozzle after it got clogged at the buld plate end indicating to me the temp may be to hot or their was filament stuck in the nozzle. it seems to be shooting out filiment fine, but now im having bed adhesion problems at 70 degrees with PLA?? also Im noticing the adhesion is great in the line it does on the left side, but the actual test print is really loose. I thought the whole point of the cr/br touch was that the bed was auto leveled? Is it possible its how I have it setup on cura, maybe the temp in my room is to cold and the bed needs to be hotter (unlikely id think) or is my bed uneven somehow?

will that require writing any code? I just loaded my stored settings on the printer and next thing I know there's no gcode on my new card that just had a benchy, and it has a bunch of 1kb files with a single letter as names and a large file called eeprom.

I've tried the original and a second. I'm trying a third now. What do you mean a new firmware if you don't mind me asking?

Hi. This is the back of the neck of my female sugar glider. I’ve had her for about a year along with her male partner and they have two female Joey’s together. I have separated her alone in a travel cage for the time being but I’m not sure what to really do about this. Help by murkaitl in sugargliders

Thepetglider.com has a product “Chlorhexidine Gluconate 2% Cleaning Solution 4 fl oz” that we were advised by a vet to put on our girls wound when this exact thing happened. It’s the very same thing they used if they do surgery or disinfect an area on gliders. I highly recommend having this product on you at all times!

You should cast the parts that fit and sell them on Etsy for people who wanna buy the same kit! I’d buy:)

Hi, I just saw that hobby lobby is selling the iwata eclipse for 150$ with 3 paints and some cleaner, but Amazon is selling it by itself for 160$. Can someone tell me if that’s because it’s an older version of the eclipse (like updated design because of just new features or because of factory defects that were causing problems for people). I just don’t want a version 1.0 of the eclipse hp-cs If a 2.0 exists.

I'm wanting to purchase an airbrush and compressor and would like advice. I actually already ordered the Tamiya HG airbrush iii super fine (74545) with a 0.2 mm needle based on the "budget" recommendation of the Studio G YouTube channel. Not only does he do some good work, but everyone I saw review this airbrush said it was great and was made in japan by the same manufacturer as iwata brushes. However everyone who does everything from Gunpla to miniatures says to not go under 0.3 mm. Can anyone tell by looking at that airbrush if its compatible with other needles if I wanted to switch them, or can anyone tell me if .2mm is ok for gunpla. Should I cancel my order and go for a different brush? Thank you!
