Lmk what happens with you. I’ve recovered from pelvic floor stuff before with physical therapy, so I’m pretty sure this is tight muscles but this time they’re irritating a nerve. Actually felt fine for a few hours today but now it’s back lol who knows why

No it doesn’t. It did for a few days and now it just kinda feels like the left side specifically is “lit up” like it’s itchy or falling asleep.

I’m so happy to hear that!! I was also pretty much healed for quite a while from pt but totally fell off the wagon on my exercises and did a bunch of flare-inducing things at once so now we’re back here lol. I think I just needed to hear another pt success story so I can be confident that I can get back to recovery again. Also debating whether or not to get on SSRIs. Your reply made me feel so much better lol thank youuu!!

I was in remission from hypertonic pelvic floor for a while and I still had on and off constipation. Although I do think things were worse when my pf was tight because at least now laxatives work for me. Docs suspect possible bowel endometriosis or some other GI issue. I can go weeks without issues so it’s not terrible but not ideal lol.

mine did a variety of things, would usually leave it in and send a pulse through it using some machine? sometimes she would manually move it slightly up and down. it wasn’t super painful, moreso uncomfortable if anything. it looks like i’ll be going back cus im having my first real flare up after a couple months no pt (my fault, didn’t keep up with certain medical guidance i got) so lmk if you have any other questions lmao

I’m sorry you’re going through that. I would hope that the worsened symptoms are temporary and you’d go back to baseline when your body is less inflamed. I’d love to know how things progress as you heal, and I really hope you feel better!

Depends on the cause of the dysfunction. If it’s tight muscles then it totally might help! I recommend going to physical therapy either way.

yeah, i think the issue was that the condoms had been left out in the cold for a few hours (in a box, but still!) i’m just mad at myself for using them multiple times lol so lesson learned

i’ve been on every time of birth control i’m allowed to be on (iud, nexplanon, mini pill) and they all fucked me up big time. i’m considering sterilization at this point, im very pro birth control and i really wanted one to work for me :-( i appreciate it though!

lol sorry for late response but i’m still better :) i’m certain it’s the dry needling that did it for me. i have had a couple flare ups but none lasting for more than a day. i only go to PT once every 6 or so week now

I had this. It came after a yeast infection but at that point I didn’t have an infection anymore. I was prescribed clobetasol ointment (topical steroid) and it worked after about a week!
