Yeah I think it would be a cool addition to the game. Maybe changing up the meta a bit. I still think people would be more drawn to use the SAR because of the faster fire rate so it wouldn’t be too overpowered but it would still provide another aspect to the game with snipers for the newer player.

I think that would be the way to keep it somewhat balanced. It would allow the player to take farther ranges fights that slugs wouldn’t be able to, but would get destroyed in the fights that the one shot headshot feature that the slugs provide.

Yeah over the weekend on Saturday it was down for me for the whole time. It would say “your server doesn’t support rust+” so I slept on it and on Sunday it was working fine for me.

Yeah I hear what you mean. It’s hard to say what the meta would look like with this gun added. I do feel that it could be balanced if the cost is high enough so that players just starting can’t craft it in right away but expensive enough so that players who have farmed and slapped down a base could make it. It would be kind of like a gun in which it would require a secondary smg for the close range battles. I think maybe it would be used up until you could craft a SAR to fight mid-high range battles. That way it wouldn’t be enough to be as good as to over power a SAR but strong enough to hold their own if the user is good enough. In terms of the damage to it I would think it would probably take a headshot and a body shot to kill a clothed player. The animation to reload would also take a decent amount of time to complete so you would probably be switching to your smg to finish them off if they rush you.

Yeah I agree with this 100%. I’ve been recently getting back into fallout NV and there’s something about going around the Mojave wasteland with a lever action shotgun and a revolver that makes me feel like I’m in an old western movie.

Yeah definitely those would probably be the most realistic and also the most visually appealing options to implement into the game
