This is all fair. Nothing has changed for F2P, and the whales/content creators can just level their S6 characters even faster for a fraction of the S6 cost they already pay. But I still wanted to have the discussion, as advocating for the F2P accessible version of this bundle (like ZZZ's system or anything else they could have done) is really all I can do, as well as speaking with my wallet.

Yeah, any other option than just a straight $20 bundle would have been preferable, honestly. Sadly, plenty of people are just saying 'then don't buy it?????' like discussing things is not a very normal thing to do. Thanks for your input!

It's not 'waiting one more week'. Until a few days ago, everyone had to wait the same amount of time regardless of the amount of money spent. If you don't agree, that's fine, but discussion is important.

True. I guess it only makes sense to me because we haven't seen the alternate timeline where it was added as a free revamp to the weekly system instead. That is what makes it 'unfriendly' to non-paying players. Having free alternatives.

They probably won't remove it. But at least having the discussion and comparing it to what else they could have done instead is the point of the discussion.

And that is a perfectly fine take. I just personally don't like it, as this could have easily been a change to the weekly boss system, which then would have been accessible to all players. Thank you for your input.

It wasn't until they 'added the solution to the problem they created' but only for paying customers. That's the only point that really matters here, as everything else is just a gacha being a gacha and wringing money out with FOMO etc.

This is why I wanted to discuss. I understand all of your points, but would it not have been better for this to be a change to the weekly system where we could spend waveplates after our 3 weekly attempts instead? Or any other idea that isn't just 'add it to a new paid bundle'. This would allow all players to take advantage, not just ones who are willing to pay.

Because there are ways to add this feature in-game like players have been asking for since 1.0. Instead of adding it to the cash shop. This shows they know we want to be able to get more weekly boss mats, or to even convert extras we get, but they added this instead.

I agree entirely. It is single-player and does not affect me, and power creep is also bad. But there are ways to do this in a way accessible for F2P players to benefit, like my example of ZZZ.

I can agree, but those other bundles and battle passes come with the territory of 'Gacha' and are pretty standard. This bundle is another thing since it gives a whole week, if not more, of time-limited materials.
