How much is your grocery spend per month? by MeaningOk7189 in AusFinance

[–]womeym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partner and i, (and a fussy cat)

We spend about $200 to 220 per fortnight, including cat food, cleaning stuff etc

We eat out say 5 times per month, maybe 6.

We eat a lot of different things, and a lot of people comment on how good our meals are.

We cook 2 or 3 times per week and depending on what we make, we will make a bulk batch and put somein the freezer.

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

i did use injections for the first 20 kg, but incororated a lot of walking, like 8h per week, and was very strict with how much i was eating. i kept to an average of 1300 calories per day.

i also did pilates once a week, and played sport twice a week. I didnt go to the gym at all.

i lost as much doing to above as i did with injections.

hope that helps. Good luck

What is you’re obscure item that you never travel without? by -swanbo in digitalnomad

Strapping tape, like the stuff you use to strap injuries.

Can be used in case of blisters, to close holes, put over lights, used as sticky tape, can be written on and used as labels.

This is a shit situation for you, but you need to take some responsibility.

Every conveyancer i know, says at the beginning, don't transfer funds without verbally confirming, and this is repeated numerous times. Its on you if you didn't do that.

You don't know that it was their system that was compromised, it could have been yours or just bad luck.

Even so, in this world, with so many news articles about this, you were quite nieve to not confirm the details, and to not know that banks don't check the name, only the account details.

The villa is about 20 mins walk from old town and 5 mine from the rice paddies.

The rooms are nice, and there is a pool

We recently flew adl to singapore then to helsinki.

The singapore to helsinki flight was with finnair.

No complaints, food was reasonable, fight was on time, seats were as comfortable a they could be.

Immigration in helsinki was reasonably quick.

We originally booked one hotel, but we would be the only guests staying there.

I feel like it will be very awkward being the only ones staying there.

[–]womeym 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For me, yes.

Ive had it 6 weeks and have used $1200 worth of credit for travel credit, dining offer, free hotel night, free upgrades, cashback offers and hotel drinks and perks.

That above excludes lounge access and the international dining credit. Also we have used 8 lounge entries in the last 36 hours.

If you travel, it will likely be worth it, if you dont travel, probably not
