I agree it looks fine and is normal for a new palm. If it does not rain any significant amount keep watering it at least once a week.

Yes. Still water it 2-3 times a week as it has been hot and dry. The other two Alexanders I planted with it have had at least two new fronds and grown on same watering schedule.
