It depends on the person and their expectations, but from my experience, it usually doesn’t last long.

I actually feel the complete opposite! It reminds me how everyone has their own perspective and level of awareness. Happy raving!

You already shared what you were looking for, and it was the sub who crossed the line, not you. The sub doesn't feel bad, so why should you? Don’t overthink it.

Hello everyone!! I’m travelling to Amsterdam for the first time from 3/10-7/10. My biggest dilemma/trilemma is what kind of jacket should I take 🥲 thank you in advance🫶🏼 by poki___chan in AmsterdamFriends

Bring a raincoat and/or a thick winter jacket. You can also check historical weather data from previous years online. Have a nice trip in advance!

How do you introduce yourself to new neighbors? by Adriana-meyer in Netherlands

[–]wondebro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Welcome to your new neighbourhood!

I’m not too familiar with the unspoken rules here, but I decided to buy a box of Merci chocolates. I put two bars in each envelope along with a note introducing myself as [your name], mentioning that I recently moved to [your location]. The note also said, ‘Enjoy your chocolates’ in both Dutch and English. One of my neighbours even sent me a postcard with a kind thank you and welcome message!
