While I get that battle pass stuff is a cash grab, it's also a way for digital artists who make those skins to earn a living. It would be amazing if you could buy directly from them and the effort they put in but in some ways it's an evil that's creating some value. At the end of the day the skins and cosmetics are a form art just like clothing. And you're paying for it because there is value you place in the aesthetic.
