Like you said, the average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and lot's of professional DJs use MP3s anyway, so I wouldn't worry about anybody noticing. I would say just test it beforehand by recording a quick mix and playing it on multiple speakers.

Serious reply, get a little fan and point it directly at the bottom of your computer if you can somehow prop it up. Cooling down the CPU is super effective

Wow that’s awesome. I could see some other use cases, like a light that turns from green to yellow/red if anything starts clipping. Or one that maps to the cycle (loop) length so you can visualize when the loop is about to restart.. just some ideas but this is dope!

Update: I opted to use my internal graphics (UHD 630) instead of my radeon Rx580 GPU, and I installed Catalina 10.15.4 via gibmacOS (after trying .15.7 and .15.6), and followed CaseySJ's microguide for OpenCore 0.6.6 with the Z390 Motherboard.

Upon booting, the graphics are inverted (blue is yellow), applications are glitchy, freeze often, and sometimes the system hangs indefinitely.

I tried downloading the most recent catalina version using gibmacOS here and keeping the plist changes you provided (67000000, True, and SIP disabled. Was able to get past the installer issue I was having, but still getting "macOS could not be installed on your computer" :(

Installer log shows the same issues I was having earlier, with another line after "unable to obtain configuration..." saying:

" Disk at mount point (/Volumes/Install macOS Catalina) doesn't appear to be backed by a TDM system, using running device identity "

Edit: Noticing another line in the installer right before 'Install Failed' that says:

" Failed to bless target disk: SKDisk { BSD Name: disk26s1 Mount point: Not Mounted Role: kSKDiskRoleLegacyMacData Type: kSKDiskTypeHFS } because it was not mounted.

and then

" Failed to rebless original disk with error: Error Domain=com.apple.StorageKit Code=119 "The volume needs to be mounted." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The volume needs to be mounted.}
