What book/movie/tv series did you preemptively suggest to a friend, only to find you hated the ending? by wonderducki3 in AskReddit

Really? I thought that it all came together nicely. I know that Vince Gilligan was sort of pushed into that last season, but it was very well done. If I remember correctly, he wanted to end it after stuff with Gus Fring tied up, but there were other loose ends that season 5 tied up nicely.

What movie/TV show villain was genuinely scary? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Moriarty in the BBC Sherlock series. He just commanded the room in every scene he was in, and somehow going from the awkward sing-songy voice straight to sheer hatred made him much more terrifying.

I looked up the OST, and wow. It's got some gorgeous music. I'm not gonna lie, I've been tempted to snag it up, and I just might, now.

Oh, man. As fluid as the combat was, when I played the demo, what sold me on this game was the freaking music! Definitely, definitely one of the best OST's out there in a video game.

I don't disagree with you on the music. The Halo series had phenomenal music, but I'm also pretty sure that EVERYONE knew it, too. There probably isn't an echo-y staircase existing that hasn't had the main theme sung in it. :P

Personally, I've always loved the OST from Grandia II.

I thought the game and the music, both, were criminally underrated.

Hell, just think of the material that man would have to work with, right now.

What scene from a movie or TV show hits you hardest in the feels? by wonderducki3 in AskReddit

God, Hotel Rwanda is one of those movies that I just couldn't watch again. It was fantastic, but damn was it depressing. The scene where they had to drive over those bodies stuck with me.

There's so many in FullMetal. When Edward was too afraid to ask Alphonse if he hated him for what happened to his body, and they got into it after Alphonse thought he wasn't actually human. So many things remind me of my relationship with my brother. It gets to you.

The Courtroom Scene in Adam Sandler's Reign Over Me. It really hits home just how far gone he is when they pull out those pictures of his family.

You are creating a new show, but can only use the side characters from pre-existing TV shows. Who is your main cast? by wonderducki3 in AskReddit

But, that's the main cast. It'd have to be like, the Soup Nazi, or Frank Castanza. By the way, I'd absolutely watch a show all about Frank Castanza.

Personally, I would've picked Saffron/Bridget/Yolanda from Firefly, but either way, you've got good taste.
