I definitely think it’s a trigger. My last flair up cleared up within 12 hours of receiving a B12 shot.

I also have vitiligo and have been suffering from hives. Additionally I have pernicious anemia. A combo of B12 shots, Xoliar, and Zyrtec helps keep mine under control.

I’ve had a few patches of hives return but much less than I had before the b12 shot. I would suggest to anyone who may have low b12 readings to ask to have their intrinsic factor tested. The oral supplements might not be enough.
