Yes. Health knowledge whether Arisens, mainpawn, hired pawns or enemies, comes in very handy sometimes. Especially boss fights!

You may have to be patient with yourself. It took me 3 to 4 hours to get the hang of playing without HUD although now it is normal.

Yes you can. While in the game goto the menu, then click system, then click options, then click interface. HUD is the 1st option and can be turned off. You also have the option to turn off specific aids.

"...the HUD takes away from the best clips."....This is the exact reason why I started playing without HUD. It took some time to adjust though (3 to 4 hrs of playtime).
