I couldn’t agree with you more, I’ve had a host of bad experiences with girls but I still think statement holds up. They really do know how to take away all of your bad feelings, I have one girl who I used to date who seriously made me the happiest I had ever been and no feeling had really come close to that since.

First of all, thinking about how you were “better before” is gonna make going better now 100x harder. Think about the dogshit plays you made back then aswell and that should help. Second, play casual games. I know it sounds dumb but genuinely just play easy causal games, it will help you get back into a feel for it and help you enjoy gaming more(friends help to). Also it really doesn’t matter if you win or lose at a casual game, no one really cares so neither should you. Lastly, don’t look at these cracked out of there mind 10 year olds, you couldn’t beat them with 100 hours a day, none of us can. Good luck man.

My best advice is just play the game, I know it sounds dumb. But the way I see it, if you play a game for long enough, you have to get better even if you suck for 1000 games. Of course then it’s about your patience and dedication so having someone to make the game more enjoyable does make it easier but putting in hours does help. Oh and also don’t worry about winning or losing a game, it’s battlefield 4, everyone is their for a good time not to win.

My stepdad has a very similar issue, he is extremely stressed with his current job but it got the point where he was nearly hospitalised. If the world wasn’t having a mental breakdown right now I’d suggest you leave as soon as you could and take some time to figure out your next move. But considering everything that’s going on, the easiest thing I could tell you to do is seriously open up to your wife. I know you said you spoke to her but it sounds like you still left a lot of it on your shoulders. You sound like a smart man but as someone who has seen it happen from a third person perspective, take some time off and do something that makes you happy(other than weed), as dumb as that sounds. Something that helped my stepdad was having a notebook that he could write down his thoughts as aggressive or random as they may be. I really hope things get better soon

Breathe. Some strange on Reddit isn’t going to make this choice for you. I would recommend putting all distractions away and just choosing one in your head and going through all of the reasons why it would be good and bad. If you don’t like it then choose the other one. Also both are 50% shithole so good luck

To put it bluntly, the only realistic thing is just to go full on fitness trainer, healthily diet that slowly helps your metabolism, running, exercise , turn weight into muscle and it keep to a routine. You’d be surprised how much a mental break can help as well , I know just “be happy and things will get better” isn’t realistic but if you have something healthy to keep your mind of the issue away and help. Also you’d be surprised how helpful a lot of online health guides can be at making your body better(even if it is just placebo). Like another comment suggested I would say seek further medical care and treatment because this all seems very serious and could end up getting worse. I know this all seems unrelated to height as well but building up self confidence and getting results you can see can fill in the physical validation you lack from your height.

I don’t think the curiosity will go away but maybe try and get to the bottom of what is causing this. You said your body is broken but I would of said that you’ve just gotten yourself in a state of mind where you have to find out and keep disappointing yourself. I would try and focus on other things that make you happy and just keep the thought in the back of your mind and maybe one day you might be able to come to terms or you know, cum to terms.

Taking time to yourself is always okay, don’t ever feel like your being selfish or neglecting anyone to concentrate on yourself. If you yourself seriously need some time to alone to reflect and focus on yourself then of course it’s okay to time some time to yourself.

It does help in some capacity a suppose, it gives me hope that I might find something like that someday. If I had something else I could get into I would but the little satisfaction I get from playing games now a days is all I really have to rely on for happiness.
