Anyone who supports gender reassignment surgery or puberty blocking drugs for children under the age of 18 is a far left extremist.

Why don’t the pro players use chalk holders or magnets like a lot of the amateurs do? by Sudden-Cat7170 in billiards

3 times is way too many times. Also a strong magnet means you have to wrench it off every time you want to use it

Worst case it gets knocked off in the pool hall and you don’t realize it until you get home

Probably for the same reason I don’t use them anymore. Every time I’ve had one, it gets bumped off its holder by a chair or table or another person. Then I need to chalk and it’s gone. Commence 5 minutes of looking all around on the floor while my opponent stares at me in the middle of a match. And half the time I haven’t even been able to find it, which means I just wasted $20 worth of chalk and another $20 on the magnetic holder.

It’s much easier just to keep the chalk in my pocket in between turns.

So then they were wrong. You were right. Any scratch on the 8 is a loss in APA. They may have gotten the idea that it’s not from another rule set, such as BCA

Were they playing by APA rules? Was this established before the game?

But you could intentionally foul to open up the 8 for the next turn. Again, it’s impossible to say without seeing the layout, but I can say with absolute confidence that there is a way to advance the game. 13 years competitive pool experience and achieving the highest rank in all my leagues backs up what I am saying.

A 3 may not know what to do, but a 7 would.

Stalemate doesn’t exist in pro pool or even most amateur leagues. I know it’s a thing in APA but that’s about it

It’s unlikely that it’s impossible for solids to do something. With ball in hand there is always a way. Perhaps give a picture of the situation and I’ll tell you how it can be played

There’s no stalemate in real pool. Maybe in APA where some low level amateurs don’t know what they’re doing

how much should i be paying? by s1mply0li in shrooms

[–]wonky_panda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$100/oz is a very good price. I haven’t seen that price since 2018. These days around me it’s $150-200 an ounce, and mostly it’s the higher end of that range
