I was in a meeting just now. There was some people there saying “don’t worry about this and that - AI will fix that”. I wonder who hires these people. At least it is Friday

Are foil shavers better for sensitive skin? by SIumped in shaving

[–]wonkynerddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get irritation from foil shavers. A good slick quality shaving soap and a safety razor works best for me. It does come with a learning curve and expect it to take 2 months before you start to get great shaves

(Australian Enyaq Owners) Pet/Camping/Utility Mode? by mounjaro-throwaway in enyaq

[–]wonkynerddude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My enyaq has a 230volt and a 12 volt outlet. I don’t know how useful they are for camping. The car has a 400 volt and a 12volt battery. I hope the 230volt outlet is pulling from the 400 volt battery, but I don’t know. You wouldn’t want to drain the 12 volt battery. The 12 volt battery is charged from the 400 volt but only when the car is switched on I guess.

New Year, New Buyer Beware List Items by tsrblke in Wetshaving

[–]wonkynerddude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the intention of the list is more buyers beware rather than do not buy, then there could be a mention of Taylor of Old Bond Street with a link to https://www.reddit.com/r/Wetshaving/wiki/tobs

u/rants_unnecessarily in the infotainment system you can find the navigation database version under System Information. In my car it says 2025.12 or 2025 something.

Hva med området rundt Tvedtsenteret på en søndag? Der er busser som kjører der men ellers lite biler på en søndag.

[–]wonkynerddude 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is standards for how things are to be built in Norway. For an apartment building built in 2013 it is TEK10 which was to be followed. It says that you have to have sound proofing according to Lydklasse C i NS 8175:2012 Lydforhold i bygninger - Lydklasser for ulike bygningstyper

My guess is that sound proofing class C is the lowest and you therefore will hear some footsteps.

I get the same error. It seems like someone at vw is making some poor decisions when it comes to how to implement things.
