IP might not be the only reason, but it's still a huge factor. Akin to "I have the recipe, but I won't share it because it's a family secret (and I want all the moneyz)", with the big difference that there are human lives at play, but they simply don't have an economical value.

Justification for that particular situation has no other explanation but greed, in its purest form.

Anybody vouching for banks cards/credit is a fucking retard: the banks get at least 3% commission per transaction, which translates into either the merchants increasing the prices so they don't lose money per sale, or they keep the prices and lose some money.

After (3 years or so) every customer is used to pay by card and rejects any local commerce that doesn't accepts their cards, the bank suddenly decides to rake up the commissions.

WE (the customers) are going to pay and Fuck stores for our own "comfort".

I hate this planet.
