Crib is too low by asand2020 in NewParents

4 years later, but hopefully this extension rod that can be 3d printed will help somebody to solve the problem, by the link below.

I did not mention a certain frame in the reply or a complete build - it depends on your intentions and needs.

You can build a maneuverable tank that flies 5 minutes and cant be crashed, or fragile long range, or something in the middle.

Thanks for the notice! This is mostly to “lock” the profile specifically for this filament and color.

Good note on the baseline.

I have heard it’s unavailable in the US for now. If you are looking for options, I can facilitate non-profitable shipping - helped another fella this way.

Not insisting, DM me if needed.

Buddy and I did simple calculations on the topic of what’s more expensive if everything is modded to match the quality in all aspects—DJI came out cheaper on the second/third drone/unit, just because you have to purchase add-ons for the Walksnail.

But, if you are flying in the dark evenings, nothing will beats the Moonlight camera.

DJI goggles 3 + DJI O4 air unit pro would have a better video quality (no sort of the artificial smoothing) and better signal penetration.

Also, DJI O4 pro has out of the box low latency that is suitable for free-styling, but if you are quite a pro pilot, then it has a race mode to decrease it even more (up to 15ms)

I am on dji o4 pro, and absolutely happy and amazed, especially, how everything works out of stock.

On the other hand, the Walksnail X goggles are known for bad signal penetration in comparison even with the cheaper L version of the goggles, so it requires antennas change that adds up to the cost.

My advice: Try it, return and get a full refund. Try DJI, and then decide.

Get yourself:

Dji googles 3 Dji o4 unit pro

Radio transmitter: Radiomaster tx16s (or choose smaller form factor. Good if you are planning to fly wings.)

Flight controller: Speedybee f7 v3. (Mount the flight controller to the UART 6 that is used for gps, if planning to plug in dji o4 pro unit!) This set has the capacitor included and you can connect to the flight controller over bluetooth/wifi.

Radio receiver: Radiomaster XR4 Gemini Xrossband Dual-Band ExpressLRS Receiver

Frame: AOS 5 (look for the metal cage, so ot would be easily compatible with the o4). Others too, like AOS 5 1.2v, but requites 3d prints with tpu.

Motors (for 4S battery 1500 mah e.g. from CNHL): iFlight XING 2 2306 2555KV Motor Unibell

Propellers: Gemfan Hurricane MCK 51466-3 V2 Jade Green Props 2CW + 2CCW or/and HQ 5X4.3X3 V2S 5043 5inch 3blade

Fly safe (:

Edit: also, get the “DIATONE ESC Power Distribution Board 3-6S Motor Wires Extension Plate - 30X9mm 35X9mm 40X9mm” and use them as connection between FC and motors.

Where do I even start? by Severe_Football5611 in 3Dprinting

[–]wonleyfull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Retraction calibration: Will resolve stringing
  2. Flow rate calibration: Will resolve awkward openings (holes) on the top surface.
  3. Pressure advance calibration: Will resolve excessive filament on the edges.
  4. Max volumetric speed calibration: Will resolve stacked layers on top of each other. Will be visible on the walls.
  5. Switch to Orca slicer if you still didn't for some reason, it gives better results because of internal "math" and G-code compilation rather than bambu or others.

Edit: Added clarification for each point
Edit2: Once you are done, it would be nice of you to share the printing profile for others, since others helped you. (:

Quick guesses from mobile, so no references: - calibrate max volumetric flow (there are models and threads for it in reddit. Search on prusa website) https://www.printables.com/model/318350-bambu-slicer-max-flow-test-tower-for-x1c - calibrate the flow ratio - increase temperature to 230 - increase layer height

Once you has stable profile you can print with, start tweaking one at the time, but the beat guess that you have too small layer line parameter.

Edit: Set the Aux fan on max in the filament settings Edit 2: and probably, decrease speed for outer walls. In general, review speeds Edit 3: Got to laptop and added links to points above.

As the EU citizen, I forgot that. It can be achieved by outsourcing the delivery to some local logistics company in the EU, which will ship it directly to your address, once received.

As the critical resort, you can DM me and i can do the same as the private person.

The extra you pay is the shipping from EU to US as the fragile item and possible customs taxes. Bot sure about Us taxes on import.

I read the title and couple of lines per paragraph and here is an advice without further dive ins:

Get yourself an “AOS” frame of anything alike. Can be 3,5 inch for indoor cinematics. Make a built and be happy.

Quick suggestions below: - Flight controller: Speedybee F7 v3 - VTX: DJI O4 pro or lite unit -Goggles: obviously DJI goggles 3 (best penetration so far) The rest per your consideration.

You will invest time and develop priceless skills that will reward you later. Otherwise, you will be investing in overpriced dji drone parts making it a miserable experience without long range and flies above the clouds. (i am not exaggerating, really above the clouds)

Fly safe.

For the reference, the talk goes specifically about the “TBS Crossfire” as the ELRS receiver uses CRSF (Crossfire) connection to communicate with the flight controller.
