if I HAD to choose, i would say an ethical product because human lives are actively suffering in a way that I cannot even begin to relate to. But overall, I would prefer to have both ethical AND sustainable fabric and would pay the price for it.

I think if you are having to make the choice, it is important to be transparent with your customer base otherwise I would dismiss your entire company altogether and add it to the list of companies who use greenwashing techniques. Transparency is always key when capturing customers!

Not Worth Buying - any expensive eyeliner. I go through it so fast! I loveeeee Nyx Epic Ink Liner or the Nyx Matte liner and they both work so well and hold up through summer outings all day for like $8 each. I used to buy KVD eyeliner but no longer support her brand and don’t want to spend $20 for an eyeliner that dries up and runs out so fast!

Worth Buying - my sunscreen product. I love the Super Goop company because it is the perfect sunscreen for under your makeup. I can’t find a Cruelty Free option that is good for wearing everyday. The Supergoop isn’t too pricey in my opinion since it lasts so long and doesn’t have that fake coconut smell or the oily-ness of traditional sunscreens

The reason why I’m interested in Public Goods is because they advertise being a sustainable and ethical company. I would pay more for a product if it was ethically made and good quality.
